Global Tour Team Competition
We are having our first Ryder Cup style team competition but instead of only 2 teams we are scheduled to have 5 but will adjust the number depending on interest. We will have teams of 4 players and grouped geographically wherever possible. Tentative teams will be:
USA Canada United Kingdom Rest of Europe Rest of World
We will play 3 rounds/days at Oakmont in the same manner as normal rather than a true match play format. Days 1 and 2 you will play with a partner and play against pairs in each of the other teams. Day 3 will be a total team event. In your matches the scores will be combined and compared against the twosomes from each other team. Day 3 teams play as foursomes and scores are combined. For each match the winner receives one point for his team at the end of the 3 days the team with the highest total points wins the Championship.
Once teams are formed I will complete the spreadsheet and you will receive the team information via email.
In order to enter you need to email me at Parbuster1962@gmail.com with the following information: 1. Your real name 2. Your email address 3. PS4 user name 4. Your country (please stick to the country flag that’s associated to your account).
Confused? I will make up the teams based on first come first serve (not ability), make up the pairings, provide everyone with the team info before the tournament starts and compute the results. All you need to do is play and have fun.
Only enter if you are committed to play all 3 rounds. If you fail to complete the rounds you will be given a score of 90 for rounds missed.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions

Scottish Championship Recap
This Tom Morris creation hosted our Scottish championship and produced a vast array of scores from ridiculously low under easy conditions to so high we won't even mention it plus a large number of players couldn't cope with the final round conditions and packed it in.
The 2nd green proved troublesome as the designer chose to place the pin on a side slope thereby making the hole a bit of a joke. Designers you need to play your courses on the most difficult conditions before publishing them!!!
congratulations to Corvettepros69 for the victory with a great score of -28. 2ns Place down to 10th was only separated by 3 shots!!
Top 5 scores:
1. Corvettepros69 -28 2. Slake_Moth -25 2, The_Gucc_16 -25 4. Vladdrac80 -24 4. Dungarvonver_12 -24 4. Johnny_Ringo_Sol -24
Great to see a handful of brand new members in the Top 20 who are giving us old timers a lesson or two.
We are at Chicago Golf Club next for another test on an old, traditional style course.

Pro Society kicks off today.
Same format as the Pro Am Society with only real course recreations (except Event #1)
Season 1 will be abbreviated and will end on November 2nd. Then season 2 will run the same schedule as Pro Am Society Season 1.
All Tournaments in Season 1 will have a minimum of 750 Coin Bonus.
We will experiment with Main & Alternate events again and leave one da between events so HB statistics will be current. This was recommended by another Society owner so we will see if it works and more importantly how people feel about a day between events.

Greater Chicago Open Recap
In my opinion there is nothing like the old style of golf course especially one designed by CB MacDonald. Chicago GC hosted a few of the early US Opens.
The Top 5 were a bunch of familiar names:
1. ChrisGreg10 -23 2. Reneg1986 -21 3. Slake_Moth -19 4. Ufgatorkyle -18 5. Vladdrac80 -17
We are in Hawaii for a few days getting use to those winds that are so common in Hawaii. IT's a great opportunity to play a resort course that many of us have had an opportunity to play in real life. Next up we go to a course that is one everyone's bucket list and none of us will ever play...….yes that private club in Georgia where we are playing for the "Green Sport Jacket". I am promising you that conditions on the weekend will be bordering on unplayable because that's what playing a major is about. If you have watched the real tournament on TV you know the advice that is mentioned over and over. Make sure you do not leave yourself a downhill putt and miss it in the right places.

Important Notice If you are shooting low 60's and better in Pro Am Society on a regular or even semi regular basis beware that you must read the notice in the Society Forum.
If you are one of those 9 or so players you are asked to move up to the Pro Society and no longer play in the Pro Am Society. If you think this applies to you and you are unsure contact me.

SavannahMac Pro Tour Recap
Our member, SavannahMac, hosted the inaugural event of our Pro Level Society at his tropical design that was well received by the other members. His design had a wide variety of holes ranging from monster Par 3's to devilishly short Par 4's. The greens were small and tricky so thankfully I kept the speeds at default or there could have been a few 4 putts from yours truly.
The Society is only 3 days old and of the 33 members 27 played the event.
Congrats to long time Global Golf Tour member ChrisGreg10 for the win and winning the highly sought after Pineapple Trophy.
Top 5 were as follows:
1. Chrisgreg10 2. Vladdrac80 3. Shortcut70 3. Shamrockdawg 5. EastCoastGolfer
We are now in Helsinki Finland for the European Qualifier on a very short course where low scores will be plentiful. We chose to make the first few tournaments short and inviting to help the newer people who are just getting use to Pro Level Difficulty.
Next weekend we have our first Major at Augusta and I can promise you the Greens Committee will not be as generous as they were in Helsinki.

Pro Am Tour - Hawaii Five-O Recap
Might have been our most hotly contested tournament with 11 players finishing within 2 shots of the leaders. A true testament to the skill of many members and how competitive the Tour can be.
Congrats to Godfather70305 and Dxenormous for being co-winners.
Top 5 fishishers were:
1. Godfather70305 1. dexenonrous 3. Tluck27 3. Shortcut70 3. Dbodz4
Speaking of competitive we are now at Augusta for the tacky yet coveted "Green Sport Coat". 72 holes of sheer terror if you miss the greens or leave yourself a downhill putt. Rounds 1 and 2 will be your scoring rounds, Round 3 things begin to get interesting and Round 4 well lets just say anything under 75 is a great score.

Pro Tour European Qualifier Recap
It was a long flight just to literally destroy a golf course. We set up the first few tournaments to be easier to avoid scaring off those who are moving up from Pro Am Swing Difficulty. no need to have those concerns because the super short course with flat greens turned out to be too easy.
Did everyone enjoy the opportunity to shoot record low scores? Hope so because things change in Michigan with a course that while not difficult the greens are severely sloped. If you have not mastered the ability to sink a short sidehill putt you will be three putting.
Congratulations to Shortcut70 for his win and amazing score.
Top 5 are as follows:
1. Shortcut70 2. djflower20 3. Johnny_Ringo_SOL 4. Slake_Moth 4. ChrisGreg10
The Pro Tour has it's only major of the short season next weekend. It will be one round of pleasant golf and 3 rounds of terror. I like to call it payback time!!

Pro Tour - Michigan Wolverines Cup
Scores returned to normal thanks to some of the most challenging greens we have seen. Thank god we did not play at fast or faster green speeds.
Congratulations to ChickHandler for the victory which included a final round 60 (must have chipped a lot in). He now earns the title of "Master of the Greens"
Top 5 were:
1. Chickhandler 2. Shortcut70 3. Slake_Moth 4. ChrisGreg10 5. Djflower28
The Tour now heads to Europe for a few tournaments before returning to the USA to play at Augusta for our only major i nthe short opening season.

Pro Am - The Green Blazer Championship (Major)
Severe conditions prevailed on the weekend resulting in soaring scores and smashed clubs.
Congratulations to steve_ads for winning the event,
Top 5 finishers were:
1. Steve_ads 2. hortcut70 3. ufgatorkyle 4. Buddy_Roe11 4. Dxenormous
The top 6 finishers were so far ahead of the rest of the field they have all been moved to out Po Society and no longer are eligible to play in our Pro Am Society.
Our aim is to keep tournaments at the Pro Am level competitive and ask players who are considerably better than the others to limit their play to the Pro Am Society. All other members are welcome to play both Socieites and I encourage everyone to try playing at a higher difficulty setting. Just make sure you switch to more forgiving clubs especially your woods.

Pro Society - West of Ireland Open Recap
Lahinch hosted our first European tournament and this great Irish course flexed it's muscles a little and was not going to be overpowered by our Tour.
We had our first champion from the Jamaica, congrats to DJflower28 for the win after a couple of near misses.
Top 5 finishers:
1. DJflower28 2. ChrisGreg10 3. ALkitts81 4. Shortcut70 4. ufgatorkyle 4. Chrishandler
It's a quick flight over to Scotland where we play a small local course that barely measures 6000 yards. The scores should be low and the bookies have the projected winning score to be -36 or lower!!! Ejoy the next 2 tournaments because we are back to the USA where we play 4 rounds at Augusta.

Pro Am Tour Recap - Houston Amateur
As the name states we played a course with the intention for it to be like an Amateur Tournament. I expected the scores to be lower than normal unless you were like me and spent more time washing my balls in the lakes than hitting greens. It might have been one of our deepest fields aver with 3 players tied for the lead, 9 players within 4 shots and 19 within 8 shots.
Congratulations to: Doinitforjohnny, Stupid_Smooth and A_brinksby for sharing the victory.
Top 5 were:
1. Doinitforjohnny 1. Stupid_Smooth 1. A_brinksby 4. Sucre28 5. Omahaak47 5. Superjp96
Oakmont is hosting our next tournament and part of the tournament consists of the "Global Golf Tour Team Championship" which consists of 4 man teams from:
USA Canada Europe Rest of the World
They play 2 days as a 2 man teams and the final round is a total score 4 Ball.
Hopefully it will be a success and we will expand the number of teams during Season 2.

Pro Society - Scottish Publinks Amateur
We played a relatively new course in Scotland that I had the opportunity to play a few years ago. Quaint and quirky was what I thought of it then and it holds true in the 2k21 version.
Congratulations to Shortcut70 and Chrisgreg10 for sharing the win
Top 5
1. Shortcut70 2. ChrisGreg10 3. DjFlower28 4. Chickhandler 4. sizzlean_74
We have one more tournament on a short course in the United Kingdom before returning to the USA for the grand daddy of courses. Florida has the Blue Monster while Georgia has the Green Monster.
