1) Will TGC Tours still be able to operate with 2K21? 2) When will TGC Tours switch over to be using 2K21? Thanks! 1. Yes 2. August 21st - will take 4-6 weeks to switch site over - expect a bunch of exhibition events once we get API set up (week or two).
Thank you. Figured the API would take a while. Looking forward to it.

Anyone figured out the PC file location yet?
And if so, does anyone want a lidar file to test?

Do you see legendary being for PGA or for TST or both? As in PGA would have a few more features enabled? Perhaps if you could elaborate on that at some point after you have an understanding of it. Initial thoughts are Legendary will be too difficult - but that's after only a few rounds. My stats are generally Fairways (30%) greens (15%) and putts/hole around 2. The good thing is that the option is there to go harder should everyone get really good - but out of the box, it's eons tougher than anything available in 2019. The Master difficulty seems to be the initial sweet spot - tougher than 2019 but not frustratingly so. None of these decisions will be made w/out a couple of exhibition events under our belt. We'll be throwing a bunch of different ones up to see what the results look like.

Any changes to matchmaking? Matchmaking wasn't available in the preview version - I don't use that function either so the other guys might have picked up more info on it.

Should also note that from the people I've been in contact with - perfect tempo is rare - most of us are counting perfect/perfects on 1 hand on Master/Legendary difficulty level. If that's consistent across platforms you'll see overall scores come down. If we're just really bad at the game then you'll see us drop to CC-Z pretty quick lol.

I'm watching a live stream of the game, and I just want to say how great this game looks. I was afraid this was just going to be a basic re-release with the 2k brand....but I was very wrong. I think I am most excited with all of the customization options this game appears to have. Well done HB Studios, I am definitely pre-ordering now. Super excited.

Sorry this is kind of a broad question, but how valuable is the XP system this year? In 2019, it felt like it wasn't really a factor, at least to me.

Sorry this is kind of a broad question, but how valuable is the XP system this year? In 2019, it felt like it wasn't really a factor, at least to me. Took this from the Operation Sports hands-on preview write up: "The progression system is fairly straightforward, with a modest amount of XP earned for every round you play in any mode. The accumulation of that XP will lead to moving up levels and you’ll unlock different rewards at each new level. Throughout a round, some holes will have a specific goals (for example, hit the fairway with your drive or hit the green in regulation) that will give you the opportunity to earn a small amount of bonus XP, which can really add up over the course of a round if you’re playing well." Also, it looks like the difficulty you play on acts as a XP multiplier. The harder the difficulty, the more XP you earn.

More XP gives you more money since you are playing more = more things to buy which include different clubs this go around - which have different attributes - so everything that helps you get more VC is good. Not sure if it has more of a factor beside that. Harder levels give you a higher XP factor so you can level up faster by playing well on harder levels/settings.

If it's harder for everyone, the best players should still stay in the top-tier tours, at least in theory. The scores will just be more realistic. I quit playing when I was demoted to CC-G and it was taking -30 or better to be in the ballpark for a promotion mark on that tour. If 2K21 brings the scores more toward realism and there's a tour where shooting 66 is considered really good, I may come back.

It also seems to me that you get more VC from Career mode events than casual play. I will say, I didn't like career mode in 2019 but it's really well done in 2k21 and I can see playing it quite a bit for a while.
