I know it's still early, but in general have you guys found the swing more "consistent" with what you thought results should be? The tempo is quicker and it feels like the perfect spot is a sliver on the harder difficulty levels (master/legend). So with regards to tempo there's a very slim margin of error that some might feel is inconsistent. This puts you off the fairway and away from the green more than any of the dial-a-distance feels of the previous games.
With practice and concentration I feel like the tempo will come - it's just such a big change from 2019 that after only a few hours there's no real way to say if it's inconsistent.

DoyleyWhen you say designer has gone global, what do you mean? Are the themes customisable, is there a caster array of objects? Have they ditched themes? This is the bit I’m really interested in. Thanks

Thanks Andre's youtube video goes into it in depth - but there are still themes but now you are able to grab any object from any theme to create your courses.

Perfect! This is the video I need! Sounds like it will be spot on though which is great news

Important question: Has the 2 club drop rule been implemented with red penalty areas?

Did the preview offer any insight into Society play, settings and improvements?
The big questions will be:
1. Can Society Admins dictate the difficult settings players must use? 2. Have they included the option to limit Society membership by handicaps again and if so what are the ranges?

I'm not sure on this one just yet

Are you able to tell us what tools are available for society admins , what new features etc we can expect and if we are able to monitor swing tempos etc Pretty much any setting you can tweak in-game is available to tweak in society. I need to dive into it a bit more to get a full handle on it but you can set global settings and then even change those settings per event. Lots of flexibility.
New is also being able to choose tees per round so in theory if people release tournament versions of courses you can have tee boxes setup to match pinsets.
Monitoring swing tempos is not something I've seen.
Good to see tees being able to be changed per round which made it more interesting in TGC1. Any idea on society settings with regards to allowing club upgrades and such or can it be locked so everyone is using the same equipment? Are those buffs just for career mode such as longer distance with less accuracy? Thanks

The clubs are game-wide - used for all formats of gameplay.

How about a simple question. Is it fun? There's such a wide range of settings/difficulties that anyone should be able to find their slice of fun. I think we'll have a hard time pleasing everyone with the settings that TGC Tours sets since there's no way our ideal settings will match up with everyone's tastes.
If you like it easy - you can do that and have a blast If you like it hard - you can do that and have a blast.
If you like it easy and play on hard settings you'll get frustrated quick. If you like it hard and play on easy settings you'll get bored quick (though it'll look lovely while doing it!)

The way every online tour has been set in different games has been a tour for each difficulty. You get some players on all, but most on medium settings, which I guess is ca pro in this game. Not sure you want to do that, but it is an option to please everyone 😊
