Good evening, 5+1+1+3 = 10 balls into the water. "Ok now don't hit it slow" - Slow. Is that a subconciousness thing? Freud maybe? If I managed to get rid of these slows one day, I could put together a -50 in a tournament. Until then, I have to be patient and take inconsistent tournaments like this one.  And with that I want to take the opportunity to thank everybody who's been involved in this at some point. Team events are fun! Hit me up if you happen to need a participant someday. Äddi a bis dann. It's a shame, I was enjoying this. We've not been helped by some piss poor scheduling in the Challenge Circuit so far this season (in my opinion). It's like they're deliberately trying to suck all the fun out of what is already a tough game. I'm about to go and have a rant in the CC thread!  Maybe give it some time and see who is interested in a few weeks/months time. Definitely hit me up if you get restarted. |

****FINAL NEWS FLASH**** Dear (remaining) Dead Parrots, The time has come to listen carefully to the wise words of our spiritual father, John Cleese: " He has ceased to be, bereft of life, he rests in peace, he has kicked the bucket, hopped the twig, bit the dust, snuffed it, breathed his last, and gone to meet the Great Head of Light Entertainment in the sky..." We must accept that what we set out to do with our Dead Parrots Society is no longer feasible. Too many have left us, too few seem interested in joining us. And that's okay, really; it is simply time to move on. Season 2 of the Dead Parrots Society was the last one. I would like to thank everybody who was involved in this society for contributing to the fun we had!!! If anyone of this group would like to set up something new, at some time in the future, I am sure some, if not all, of us could very well be interested. In fact, I hope something new will pop up and I, for one, will be happy to join. All the best, also on behalf of Greg, Frans I feel partially responsible and I hate that. I just popped in to see how my friends were doing and saw this. That sucks. If any of you want to do a society that uses pro settings (if anyone has time separate from playing the TGC rounds) - count me in. Hell, I'd even participate on Master settings if it's only a couple of rounds a week. |

According to the main TGCT website, you are in the Beer League, so you might want to check the Brew Crew society. If you are in the CC, you can try the Dirtbags, and if you are in the Pro Tours, you can join a league I am currently setting up. Hope this helps! Cheers, Kevin |
