Upper Class Twit Week 6 The final score might look decent but my lack of ability to make eagle on any of the short par 4's probably won't help my team at all. Fewer eagles means more birdies. -16 is -16 and is a big contribution. All good 👍

Round 3 of Grail Singles vs Bill Had my shot, and I blew it. Full Brazillian on the last to lose by a stroke. Well played ChiefOnward!

Hilly Gristle Round 3 or Putting Numbers Into Boxes In a perverse reversal, the oft reserved ghost of Jason Dowey @cursestatic joined the fray. It didn’t go well. Four boxes and a nesting box overwhelmed two tiny baby birds, leaving me short of beating Jamie’s quite bestable -1. My new giraffe nemesis takes it this time. Rd 3: +4

Round 4 of Grail Singles vs Jamie Saw the low hanging fruit of having to beat par and thought "Art, how can you mess this up?" I Answered "I'm a Vandelay, there is always a way!" Outward was clean until 9 (may have Humphed that sucker every round). -1 and victory is in sight. Check that: Humphed 10. Back to even with my long necked adversary. Started to feel the weight of the Roman Empire, especially Mark as he is a Terry Forster (Google Terry Forster David Letterman. Go ahead, I'll wait.) But then I heard captain Frans whisper "You must win Art, for love of a chocolate éclair." Now I was getting famished, and knowing Mark had already commandeered the buffet I figured this was the only food I would see today. So I got a bounce back chirp on 11, sealed the game with back to back chirps on 13 and 14, then traded Humph and chirp going in. Good game Giraffe72, this is going up on the mantle. Now where is my pastry? Onward!

Quiz of the Harley Trail Rd 4 or What Was and What Will Never Be Taking on the very pro-level Bill and his surprisingly gettable -3. Opened very strong with 3 chirps on the first 4. Had my time really come? As if to answer, my power draw returned screaming “NOT TODAY, BOYO!!!” Following matching tee shots into the drink on #5, I was still teeing off, hitting 5. Should have hit pause before trying to right the ship, and minimize the already fatal damage. But alas, dear reader, for rage golf prevailed, and I went on to a career destroying sextuple bogey 11. Tragic really, for had I merely parred the hole, I would have gone on to card a finishing -3, and steal a point from Mr. Bill. Woulda coulda shoulda. Rd 4: +3 Off to the twit round where I have to eagle all the par fours.

Silly Rabbit, Twits Are For Kids Nothing much to add to my brethren’s production so I went in blind and forgot how easy it was to leave every birdie/eagle putt a mere 1 foot short on 144 greens. Fortunately, I was quickly reminded. Move along. Nothing to see here. Well played, fellow Romans. You chaps are a great bunch.

GregUpper Class Twit Round -9
I meant to play this round last night but was kinda sidetracked by Scotland finally qualifying for a major tournament, and yes I do remember the last time we did. Quite an easy little course which had me hitting the kinda numbers I was used to in TGC 2019. So Mr Bawbag's stand in spell for Mr Bollocks is over, it was good to join the group again and no doubt we'll cross paths in the future.
Thank you all for having me.

Thank you all for having me. I know everyone says we've qualified but I'm sure that somewhere in the small print we still have to beat Brazil 3-0 to actually go to the tournament. I too remember the last time and actually remember Joe Jordan punching the ball into the net at Wrexham back in the Seventies. Thanks for helping out and always a pleasure Pat.

Good evening, here is my upper class round. I've been between clubs too often for the big birds, as I can't handle distances between 260 and 280 that well with my 248 3W and 295 D. So my round feels a little as if did the compulsory figures. Cheers and good luck!
