Element 1 Kallen Island
Round 2 -11
I started off on fire on the front 9 with an eagle and 6 birdies to be -8 at the turn for home. The back 9 started slow with 2 pars before heating up again with an eagle and 3 birdies over the next 5 holes. Then disaster struck on the worst hole on the course the par 3 17th, where I had a double bogey.
There is no way other than holing your putt/chip/flop shot into the cup, can you can stop your ball from rolling off the front of the green if your tee shot is long.
Overall I'm happy with my round other than that double bogey, aargh.

Happy days - South Africa is firmly back to loadshedding (the equal distribution of the available electricity supply to all South Africans - there is not enough for everyone all at the same time, irrespective on whether one is a paying customer or not) which means my semi limited playing time now has to also fit in with a non flexible schedule determined by someone other than myself. (Gawd, knew i should never have sold that paraffin powered PC) So, that meant i had to fit in a single round yesterday of the regular circuit before blowout, today i neatly fitted the rest of the other 3 rounds between yesterdays blowout and later-on todays blowout. (days like this i'm glad i took adding and subtracting {maths in 1st world countries} at school) Well, yesterday was not too bad. Course played a bit like a push over and i knocked the ball around 13 times less than the indicated par score Today, ummm, took me 2 full rounds to get a combined score of 14 under par Last round i just forgot about the outside world and repeated my 1st round score   -13 -7 -7 -13 Total 40 Seeing as Twitch rates my internet as 3rd rate with continuous red error warnings and messages mentioning frame droppings i decided to stream my rounds to youtube Delayed live i suppose. Just the final round. Takes hours to upload a single round, sigh SkyBlueBen |

Sincere apologies Romans, I was playing well in RD1 but the course wound me up, the pin positions and green slopes aren’t fun on the majority of holes and I lost my concentration. Old skool rounds dress up Not sure what the Judeans would wear so I decided on an attempt to get an Obelix dress up for the rounds against the Romans! Here's to hoping 2K21 would embrace fat people, ponytails and topless playing too   |

SkyBlueBen Round 2 @ Kallen Island -5 A slight improvement from round 1 even though I started off with a bogey before holing 3 birdies on the next 3 holes. I slide in another couple of birdies on the 7th and 9th then just went totally dead after that with 6 pars. Finished off with a bogey sandwiched between 2 birdies on the last 3 holes.
