I think we could work something out - could stream for our confused fans Seriously Mark you probably don't have any fans or followers after you stream of Alien Isolation, here is pic of Marks stream, as you can see I lucky enough to have myself to talk to as streamer "IStreamBad" couldn't learn how to walk or manage to read chat, yes 40 plus min of pure excitement with Mark. Hmmmm.....which is worse, Mark inadvertently streaming like a plonker or Mike's plonker sentence structure. Gather round Parrots, it's a PLONK OFF!!

Dearest Scorekeeper, Element 3, if I understand spread sheet correctly is the Old School Golfing. If so my score was -4 and katana22 Was -3. / which is reversed on spreadsheet. As much as I would like to give him a stroke... I did beat him and it only took one stroke (in golf that is, silly boys ) But since we were playing as a team Well done teammate! Cheers

Cheers Sorry Carol, I got confused when Leon posted a score for you earlier and then the actual round came through later. As it happens it is only about bragging rights within your team as it is the total team score which determines points. The winning team will get 8 points towards the team competition and the four members of that winning team will all get 5 points towards the overall competition regardless of how much or how little they contributed to the winning team score. The teams get 8/6/4/2 points and the individuals 5/3/2/1 points to add a little incentive for the team to pull together.

Technically not possible to blob a week Simon. You can score nothing in two of the elements but you are sure of at least one point from the team challenge, Entirely possible that your team could win the team challenge and propel you to mid-table mediocrity despite drawing a blank in the TGCT element.

I did know it was team effort and very proud to be part of it!

Dead Parrots Society - Season One - Week 2 12th July 2020 to 18th July 2020 Dear honeybadger64 SkyBlueBen evilgrin72 Celtic Wolf fransslabak Riotous bogeyman sid snott katana22 Loftyando inflames47 SAM Crazy Croc cappy1 Art Vandelay IGolfBad I hope you all enjoyed your first week as Dead Parrot's. Lucky to have two Dead Parrot courses to start off with and Hoodoo Hills certainly gave an introduction to Old School Golf at the tougher end of the scale. It will return though it will be on a rather more traditional style course. Week 2 will feature a new style of Something Completely Different event where your choice of irons is key. More later. On with the welcome to next week's events for your pixel golfing pleasure:-
Event 1 - Team Competition (Total Score)
This will take place at Kallen Island which is the course selected for CC-Pro this week by TGCT. In a format familiar to all you will need to play all 4 rounds of the event with scorecards/summaries posted by those not being in CC-Pro. Your scores should be posted in this thread. You are reminded that the first 2 rounds MUST be posted by Wednesday evening your local time.
Event 2 - Society (2 Rounds Individual) 12th July 2020 to 15th July 2020 The course selected for this week's Individual rounds is Old Olkham Village. A very visually appealing collaboration from two top designers and should provide a good challenge. It will be a straightforward 2 rounds of stroke play. Rounds must be completed by 15th July. I apologise for the schedule being tight but it will ease to a 7 day window the following week. We welcome your scores being posted to the thread, together with your tales of your success, or failure, but they can also be picked up from the Society leaderboards. You can play these rounds on a system other than the one you are registered with TGCT but we do ask you to inform us if you are doing this.
Event 3 - Society (1 Round Team) 16th July 2020 to 18th July 2020 For this week's Something Completely Different, you will be picking up your starter set of golf club's while you save up to buy the rest of the set! It will consist basically of Driver, any 3 irons, all the wedges and a putter (no woods or hybrids). Please colour your shafts in some colour chosen by Stabilo Boss (dayglo pink for instance) in order to ensure you don't accidently choose the wrong club. Frans and Greg had a tour round the chosen course, Lahinch 2019 Irish Open by Craig leVasseur, yesterday using this format and the results can be viewed here on Frans' Twitch channel Frans' Twitch It will consist of 1 round of stroke play which can be played individually or as a group. You don't have to be members of the same team. The clubs you are allowed in your bag are as detailed below:-
Round must be completed by 18th July. Again, I apologise for the schedule being tight but it will ease to a 7 day window the following week. We welcome your scores being posted to the thread together with commentary but they can also be picked up from the Society leaderboards. You can play these rounds on a system other than the one you are registered with TGCT but we do ask you to inform us if you are doing this. Paul sid snott will be along tomorrow morning with the match up's and the predictions of his latest "hired" help!! Onwards!!!

I wish to thank each and everyone of you to take the time to get the tournaments together get the scores together on a spreadsheet and keep track of everybody. This is not an easy task with that being said Greg honeybadger64 I hope I did not upset you pointing out my score because that was not my intention. I it was a momentary lapse of reason( SAM you will understand that statement)so if I offended you in any way I give you permission you give me a slap across the face 😂 but you have to promise me that you're smiling when you do it saying God damn it Carol what's the rule ? Duh..private messaging Sir, yes Sir... oh dear God I'm so sorry. At least expect 30 lashes with a wet noodle I'm sure katana22 will offer is services?
