Hi all, Greg and I just played the 3 iron challenge that you will all be playing in event 3 next week. If you want to have a look at how it works, check my Twitch channel. You'll find two videos there called 3 irons: the front nine and the back nine of the lovely course we'll be playing; Lahinch (Irish Open 2019). The rules for 3 irons are in the scoring spreadsheet but just to be sure: Driver All wedges Putter Choose 3 irons, colour them pink or green or whatever, just so that you can remember which ones you picked and... those are the only irons you are allowed to use. No other woods than the driver No hybrids So, you're playing with 9 clubs in your bag and you'll have to be careful to not end up between clubs... Hope you will all enjoy it! Best wishes Frans |

Completed rounds on Amaroo Bay nothing much to say about the course or the conditions.
Rd3 -7
Rd4 -9.
Only thing I thought of I SUCKED.

Rd 4 -7 Thought I'd blown it on the 10th with a double bogey putting me at -1, but managed to come back strong after this, including a Eddie. Sorry SAM you had your chance, but muffed it . Meanwhile in the F-Ams had a good week with -48 for the four rds. A promo mark looks certain, maybe a green lightning bolt could be on the cards for the 2nd straight week  |

Event 1
Round 4
Knowing I needed a good score to win against the Full Monty's Pro of Pros fransslabak
I started out my final round with par, birdie and double bogey. The DB was a result of a very poor tee shot that came up short of the green and rolled back down into the rocks and water.
After three holes I was +1 and needed to turn around potential disaster. I strode to the 4th tee telling myself you can do it, you can do it.
And oh boy did I do it, over the next ten holes, I scored -9 to be one shot behind Fran's score with five holes to play.
I parred the 14th, birdied the 15th followed by two more pars to be equal with one hole to play.
I headed to the 18th tee with confidence knowing I had birdie this hole in my first three rounds, I swung the driver with beautiful tempo (P/P) to be right in the middle to the fairway, I grabbed the 2W and hit the approach shot on to the green but approx. 20 foot pass the cup, leaving myself a nice downhill eagle putt. I lined up the putt and gently hit the ball and watched it slowly slip just passed the cup. I was left with a 3 foot putt for the win.
My final round score was -10.
I thoroughly enjoyed the format for our first week in the Monty's. A big thank you to the admin team, well done guys.

I think we could work something out - could stream for our confused fans Seriously Mark you probably don't have any fans or followers after you stream of Alien Isolation, here is pic of Marks stream, as you can see I lucky enough to have myself to talk to as streamer "IStreamBad" couldn't learn how to walk or manage to read chat, yes 40 plus min of pure excitement with Mark.  |
