After the dirty tricks of round 1 courtesy of Sam Pond ( Riotous) Mike had a few tricks up his sleeve, as he had it let it been know that he had Friday tee time for his final round when in fact he had a late Thursday afternoon tee time this would insure no interference from Roman Sam. Mike would start his final round off a bit shaky missing the green on the 1st but great chip would save par, Mike knowing that it would take some stellar golf to fight off his rival knew he could I'll afford to have a lazy front nine, but another missed green on 2 and things were starting to take on an all too familiar start on his home course, A chip into the cup for bird, accompanied by fist pump and things would change in the blink of an eye, 5 more birdies and Mike was sitting at -6 after 7, a lazy putt on 8 and a another missed green on 9 and Mike would have to settle for pars. Mike would start the back nine making the Dangerous 10th look easy with birdie there and 3 more on 11, 12 & 13 now sitting at -10, another unforced error on 14 would see him settle for par once again, 16 would see Mike go after the par 5 green in 2 only to have the ball stop on the back of the green in the light stuff a great chip from there leave him with an easy bird, par on 16 would have Mike thinking that -11 just wouldn’t be enough, well executed approach on 17 would see another birdie drop, A nice drive on 18 had his caddie handed him a 7i to lay-up but Mike looked at him and said hand me the driver were going for this one, sweetly sounding ping and were putting from 28ft for eagle, sadly the putt would roll agonizingly close and have to settle for a another bird. Round 4: -13

Is anyone else as concerned as Mark with a K that Mike is referring to Mike in the third person again?

Expecting that the less than trustworthy Spanish Inquisition were up to something Team Puddle arrived a day early for Round 4, the smell of Paella and Sangria in the Car Park was evidence that we were on to them. Rounding the corner to the 1st tee we spotted him up the hill on the green, down on his hands and knees inching his way across the surface was Katana Mike. The Inquisitors call this method Worming, i have a feeling this isn't the only worming that they do.
And battle commenced........ Strong start with birdies on the first two led to some of the best tee to green golf i've ever played, but that statement is ALWAYS followed by a less than glowing putting report and so it was today. A very low score was there for the taking and I didn't take it. You should be cruxified for getting a slow tempo when holding a Gap Wedge and i did it twice, tut tut
Well played Michael, i knew you'd play well and you did, -13 was a strong score.

Greg....Element 1 (singles). Rd 3: Chasing Roman Emperor (Frans) -14, I could only scrape together a measly 6 under par.Rd 4: Blobacious Incominus if failure to beat Siddus Snottus... set him a beatable 4 under par.The dungeon awaits whilst I hold the silver cross in my hands, knelt, murmuring a Spanish prayer under my breath between sobbing tears... "What have I done? What have I done?" ... "Forgive me Katanailio."

Society Round Hoodoo Hills (Ben and Pat on XBox One)
Well, what can I say, except for what a complete and utter nightmare!! Started bad, got far worse for me though at least Pat Celtic Wolf rallied on the back nine and started knocking in the chirpies!! Pete bogeyman I hope you disappear down Dr Yeti's crevice for choosing this!!! Great fun format but pretty tough on this track. Can we have a nice gentle rolling Scottish (or Irish) links for this next time please The damage....here it is!!

It's great fun Carol, we weren't helped by the struggle it took getting both myself and Pat on the same course at the same time and we were possibly a little distracted on the first few holes. All a good learning experience though!

Great fun format but pretty tough on this track. Can we have a nice gentle rolling Scottish (or Irish) links for this next time please The damage....here it is!! Not Guilty your honour! It was chosen for 'fun' then Frans & Greg decided they wanted Old Man's errrr Old School golf and they deemed Hoodoo not ideal but certainly possible.
