The good news is we’re now arguing about lighting. The bad news is we are arguing about lighting. 😂

Well, up to 8 quickly overnight...
One first timer - New to PGA...
Two - Ty as he might, it's a 100% strike rate since he decided to play in the Masters after being inactive all season and elsewhere, a Travisty for another after a DQ in Texas, a MC in the Masters, and back to being DQ'd this week.
The final one... Nightmare for Tyler Duke, as that's 3 and out of the Majors for the season going forward. Hope you can work it out, but it sounds like the problem is persisting through numerous pads.

Yeah that'll likely be it for me playing wise until something is changed. All blame is with the game really. I figure something with API is done to flag short swingers and it in effect is getting people who may swing really straight with full swings. That's 3 pulls with 3 different controllers.
Might make a hand-cam video showing all 3 controllers I have and the lines.

Well that was a complete waste of time, 30H in about 20 minutes, lost my head after 6 holes and just whacked it from there to get finished as quick as possible.
I could go on ranting, b!tching, moaning about tempo, but there is no point, it was, what it was.
But as i sit here typing this I realise I owe u all an apology, from Admins to Schedulers to players, because of my total disrespect to you all, with the way i played those last 30 holes, whack, whack, whack, no thought process, jusy hit whatever club it gave me, where ever it was aiming me, and thats so not me and its so disrespectful, so i'm Sorry.
Welll played all.

If the API pulls are a combination of rounds 1+2 and 3+4, then how are fails happening now, when only 1 round is showing on the leaderboard? Or do they happen after someone has completed 2 or 4 rounds on their system? In which case, how do you know whether it was for the former or the latter they got done for? Just curious. 🤔

In fact, to my somewhat limited knowledge, a single round where it was obvious that foul play was occurring (scripts etc) could be flagged. Nobody outside of the admin team would know who failed for which metric, and in what round.

I don't think that anything has been implemented, specifically as it could affect full swingers, but I'm only theorising - It could well be that. The hand cam vids might help to point towards a cause... who knows? Be a real shame for you to stop competing.

Another quick question fadgewacker, do you know if they take into account when you try a draw or fade and the cone gets smaller?

In relation to the new push /pull metric, the width of the channel has no bearing. I'm pretty sure of that. If you exceed a specific inaccuracy of input value repeatedly, regardless of your loft box manipulation, you'd be flagged.

I feel for you, same exact thing has happened to me twice this year with two different controllers and I'm terrified every week of a 3rd pull. Sounds like we are playing pretty similarly, as I don't really have any ideas either.

Playing tournament rounds afraid I’m hitting it too straight while doing nothing wrong is certainly one of the weirdest things I’ve done in a video game.

Showing the three different controllers and how my lines look. I think the way I swing is at least a bit popular around here. Saw people call it the “chess piece” grip.

I'm pretty straight when I'm on form, but still don't think I could be anywhere near a pull, even at that (I might be, who knows?). There is almost always some variation in my lines, particularly on the backswing, and even more so when going for fast DS off the tee... I am however, medium as they come!!

In theory I like that this course is on the schedule, it's nice to have variety and be forced to play a different style of game at times. But I do not like this course. Struggled with my swing, made bone head plays like trying to putt from heavy rough (I guess I haven't done it before and didn't realize how much the rough affected it. Had a 14 foot uphill "putt" from the heavy rough, about 1.5 feet of rough before the green, thought a 35 foot putt length would be enough, nope, it went 1 foot. oops. Repeated and this time I got halfway to the hole. Bogeyed that hole). Even though my ball striking was poor, my putting saved me from having a bad score. Finished at -9 for Round 1.
Here's the best 2-putt of my life.
