Was not looking forward to this week at all - coming off some terrible golf in the Masters, and have never played Heritage well. So to get high winds first up was not looking great........
......but putted really nicely to produce -10 in the wind.
Not so great in the easy 2nd round - shot -9, which as per normal will be cut watching.
If it does get through, then another -9 and -11 (both high winds again) will make for a solid -39 tournament (for a medium player of course)

Nice playing. I think you'll be plenty safe at -19. First round was fairly tough, especially since the shadows were bad on the greens. Not sure what happened with the first round lighting, should've been the brightest round yet it was the worst with shadows.

I meant to mention the lighting in R1 - please NEVER EVER use noon as a lighting setting ever again - it makes even the best course look dreadful

I tested noon and it looked okay and I wanted to try minimize green shadows with how many trees are on this course. But my test could've been one of those where it kept my lighting settings from the previous round like TGC likes to do.

Bogey-free -46 for me on a course I usually struggle at. Had a stretch on the back on Thursday and the front on Sunday where I made 6 pars in 7 holes each time. Imagine that will cost me a chance at a win, but really happy with my play otherwise.
I hit the ball really well and really straight this week. I've yet to be pulled with my current controller at any point but it's been in the back of my mind each tournament worrying about it. If I don't get flagged this week I think I'll be able to move forward with a clear conscious knowing I have nothing to worry about.

Yep, my recovery lasted a week.
I'm even par through 8 holes. Pulling everything and have sh%$ tempo. Which around here means hitting two fairways and three greens so far.
Between my own inadequacies, the greens being so firm they won't even hold a wedge and the fact i can't see the grids i'm honestly not having a very good time

-46 is a good knock tyler. I fancied it this week after blitzing the trilby tour with -31 thru 36. Then played today and swing was off big time in patches. Really good in others but tempo was all over today. Got some really funky swings. All on my part. I hate slow at the top. You feel it before you've hit it and it just sucks balls. When my swing was off i didnt get the breaks and short sided myself alot. That coupled with 4 bogies. Halted the charge. Every time i got it going id make bogey and a few pars followed. On a plus note my putting is getting back to somewhere near its best and i made 2 aces in an event. First time ive ever managed that. Good luck all and hopefully ill creep in the top 10 again. Keep them wgr ranking points coming in Stay safe all!!!

Was actually lucky to shoot 68 in R1 - Back 9 was no better swing wise apart from a couple of nice swings on the Par 3's.
R2 i was a totally different player - smooth 59.
So a definitie missed cut @ -15. Almost like as soon as i know what i am doing has no relevance i relax and play a lot better.

I don't know if I'm going to play this tournament. But if i do, can I post the videos of the match here? I'm evaluating if it's worth the job, with slow connection. I need to understand the swing needed for the game.

-7 -10 -10 -7 -34 overall I think that i might have a chance to make the cut with -17- One Par 5 less and the first round wasn't that easy. I played pretty well for my standards. Missed some on the greens that i could have made - but we all can say that after the tourney, right? rob4590: Great shooting! Especially the -11 in the 4th is really a quality round. Lots of tough pins where you have to be brave to attack them out there in the last round.

I need to understand the swing needed for the game. follow the instructions in the email you got - get proper support and test in another society before playing this one. If you get 3 fair play pulls in a season you are out of all the big events - not worth the risk if you haven't gotten the all clear to continue playing w/out worrying.
Edit - sorry, looks like I was too late with the warning as you just got your 3rd last week at the Masters.

I am on the side of keep the noon lighting. I hate green shadows as well and the better play-ability overrides any aesthetic concerns. I especially hate green shadows with high or very high winds, the rapidly shifting shadows make me feel dizzy when I am lining up a putt.

Dear Doyley, let me explain, because I need to understand. I like being here, but I have a hard time understanding what is written. I need help / answer for the following points: 1- What is the period of the season? I have DQ: 02/11/2019 School 20/03 Valspar 10/04 Master. Asking for help with fair play assistance, I was told: The first instruction I received (school) said that my shots on the lawn were straight. not valid. The second instruction I received (Valspar) said that my shots were not straight or crooked, but looked artificial. The third piece of information (master): you need to try to get it right naturally. I don't understand how to play ... 2- Given that, can I only play for what period? Or can I play with the risk of being eliminated again? While I don't solve my problem. 3- I hope to stay on the forum, but here is the only way to try to understand things. Please don't eliminate me. Example of how I shoot: I don't know if I'm going to play this tournament. But if i do, can I post the videos of the match here? I'm evaluating if it's worth the job, with slow connection. I need to understand the swing needed for the game. follow the instructions in the email you got - get proper support and test in another society before playing this one. Not the place for fair play support.
