To say it was a "disaster" would not be true. It was actually 2 seasons he played at KC. Went to the Pro Bowl in his 1st season there. Took them to 2 playoff appearances and the AFC title game in 93.
If that's a disaster sign me up!
I think Mark Sanchez signed up for that his first two seasons with the Jets

For most people this would have been a great two year run with them, but with Joe Montana's caliber, it would have been Super Bowl win or bust

Even I know about the butt fumble in Australia.
Did any of you catch the Aussie rules football that has been on tv over there?
Season has been suspended as of today though

PJ Walker to the Panthers, and then Kyle Allen traded from Panthers to the Redskins yesterday.
Walker was in the running to be MVP status in the XFL and played for Rhule when they were at Temple. Allen played for Ron last season, and now will play for Ron again.
Looks to me like this is just Rhule and Riveria getting guys on their teams as backups, that at least know their systems. Which is understandable, and smart, especially since there may be a shortened offseason or training camp whenever things do get around to starting back up.
Rhule and Ron might not be getting the prettiest girl in the room, but its the one that knows what you like!

Wasn't the NFL thinking about adding games...was that this year or just a thought thrown out during off season? Sad thing is none of these guys can work out together as to the playbook , not exercise.

Yes, they were, and that did pass with the new CBA that was approved.
The 17 game season though won't start with this one. It will be at least the 2021 season before it starts, and possibly not even till 2023. The only thing I think that passed that will be an immediate effect this season (if played) is the new playoff rules, 7 teams per division get in the playoffs instead of 6.

Detroit Lions: He said 7 not 16 I assume it's 7 per conference though. So would the 6th and 7th teams have a play in game? I'd rather they just re-seed so you don't have some division winner at 7-9 or 8-8 play a home game against a wild card team that ended up 12-4.

We were actually decent with a healthy Stafford, season tanked when he got hurt again. I will remain optimistic about that 7th playoff spot in the conference! With 7 teams in it just takes away the bye from the 2 seed. Only the top seed on each side will have a first round bye. Then second round you're back to 4 teams and the format we're all familiar with

For reference, this past season, Pittsburgh would have got in and had to play KC on the first round, and the Rams would have gotten in and played Green Bay on the other side.
Should make the last week more relevant at the very least.

OBJ to my Vikings?!?!?!
Rumors are flying, some sources say it's fake news and I'm inclined to agree for a few reasons:
-Why would they bring in a diva WR when they just got rid of a diva WR? -Vikings don't have the cap space to make this an easy addition, they'd have to move a lot around to make it work -Vikings are a run first offense anyway with a stud WR1 in Thielen and 2 good receiving options at TE, plus they added Tajae Sharpe as a good candidate for WR2 -The report is the Vikings can get him for no more than a 2nd and a 5th next year... I don't see how that's a realistic trade for one of the best WR in the league. How could Cleveland not require a player plus draft picks? Plus adding a player to the trade would help the Vikings alleviate some of that cap hit so I don't see how this could be straight up OBJ for a couple non-first round draft picks.
There are a couple reasons this trade does make sense though: -He's OBJ, if you have the opportunity to acquire a stud, you at least investigate it -Someone has to fill the hole Diggs left and OBJ would be an upgrade to form one of, if not the, most dangerous receiving duo in the league -OBJ apparently wants out of Cleveland **but that could be fake news too** -If credible sources are saying it is possible for the Vikings to land him for just a 2nd and a 5th next year, then that's a steal for the Vikings as far as I'm concerned and they'd be stupid not to pursue it (still don't know how Cleveland would go for that but if it's true it's true)

"Browns chief strategy officer Paul DePodesta said rumors the team was trying to trade Odell Beckham to the Vikings were "completely false." "
My guess is the Vikes may have inquired, and someone saw it and ran with it and most of the internet believes everything they see, without verification.
