OBJ to my Vikings?!?!?! Rumors are flying, some sources say it's fake news and I'm inclined to agree for a few reasons: -Why would they bring in a diva WR when they just got rid of a diva WR? -Vikings don't have the cap space to make this an easy addition, they'd have to move a lot around to make it work -Vikings are a run first offense anyway with a stud WR1 in Thielen and 2 good receiving options at TE, plus they added Tajae Sharpe as a good candidate for WR2 -The report is the Vikings can get him for no more than a 2nd and a 5th next year... I don't see how that's a realistic trade for one of the best WR in the league. How could Cleveland not require a player plus draft picks? Plus adding a player to the trade would help the Vikings alleviate some of that cap hit so I don't see how this could be straight up OBJ for a couple non-first round draft picks. There are a couple reasons this trade does make sense though: -He's OBJ, if you have the opportunity to acquire a stud, you at least investigate it -Someone has to fill the hole Diggs left and OBJ would be an upgrade to form one of, if not the, most dangerous receiving duo in the league -OBJ apparently wants out of Cleveland **but that could be fake news too** -If credible sources are saying it is possible for the Vikings to land him for just a 2nd and a 5th next year, then that's a steal for the Vikings as far as I'm concerned and they'd be stupid not to pursue it (still don't know how Cleveland would go for that but if it's true it's true)

My guess is the Vikes may have inquired, and someone saw it and ran with it and most of the internet believes everything they see, without verification.  Yep been following that. I know when I first read it yesterday I was like “uh... what? Why?” Don’t mind my front office trying to make big moves if they did inquire about him but idk sounded like an odd choice |

what do you mean? They are the one sport that has not actually cancelled anything yet. Draft starts Thursday night. It won't be in a public venue, but its still happening.

Lol... wow.. I guess that Masked Singer thing didn't get him a recording contract I called this the day I heard TB was leaving. Now we await Edelman asking for a trade. As somebody on local radio said yesterday, Patriots South is coming to you in the fall. I like this line I heard...the new coach will be Will Welichick |

wouldn't surprise me at all if they trade Edelmen. With Gronk, I figure BB knew Gronk wouldn't play for them, so he figured why not, I'll at least get some draft capital out of it. And any draft capital he can build will help him trade up for Tua.

The Pats don't have unlimited early draft picks to refill the entire tank, especially with other teams needing WR's in a WR rich draft. |
