Fun stats:
Brady > 41 playoff games, 36 comebacks, 45 game-winning drives. 6 SB wins Montana > 23 playoff games, 26 comebacks, 28 game-winning drives. 4 SB wins Manning > 27 playoff games, 43 comebacks, 54 game-winning drives. 2 SB wins Brees > 16 playoff games, 35 comebacks, 50 game-winning drives. 1 SB win
All of these QBs are great. This isn't a "better than" post, just a fun look at their careers. Just awesome.

I can see why some would say TB isn’t the GOAT. I can see why some would say any GOAT isn’t the GOAT. But it’s kind of hard to argue when most of the best and most respected people in football history say he is

I'll definitely remember his last pass with Pats! I guess Robert Kraft will have to go back to Florida for a Happy Ending now.

I'd definitely argue (successfully ) that Tom did more with less. Credit to the brainiac that is Bill Belichick too. The absence of Brady will be more of a test of his abilities than Tom's. Was it the system or was it Tom? Or both?
This. ^
This is actually the point I was trying to make. I think it will be really fun to see what Tom does in Tampa, or Vegas, or whereever he ends up, and what Belicheck does with Cam, or whoever he ends up with.
Its just really hard for me to anoint one player as the greatest of all time, based on stats alone. You think of all the great QBs of the game, and they all were great in their own ways. The ones we have already mentioned, plus you can't forget about guys like Unitas, Favre, Fouts, Rodgers, Starr, we could go on and on. I mean, Otto Graham, he won 7 championships before it became the super bowl and they gave a ring.
So many great players!

Pretty sure billionaires aren't going out of their way to get $50 rub n tug...I don't know what, but something else was going down there.

I am by no means a Pats fan but Brady is the undeniable GOAT. Brady 6 rings, Montana 4, Peyton Manning 2. Lets number crunch now Brady Regular season: record 219-64, 63.8 completion%, 74571 passing yards, 541 TD's, 179 INT's (3.02 TD's to INT's) Montana Regular season: record 117-47-0, 63.2 completion%, 40551 passing yards, 273 TD's, 139 INT's (1.96 TD's to INT's) P Manning Regular season: Record 186-79, 65.3 completion%, 71940 passing yards, 539, TD's, 251 INT's (2.15 TD's to INT's) Brady Postseason: record 30-11, winning% 73.1, 63 completion%, 11388 passing yards, 73 TD's, 35 INTs (2.1 TD to INT) Montana Postseason: record 16-7, winning% 69.5, 62.7 completion%, 5772 passing yards, 45 TD's, 21 INTs (2.1 TD to INT) P Manning Postseason: record 14-13, winning% 51.8, 63.2 completion%, 7339 passing yards, 40 TD's, 25 INTs. (1.6 TD to INT) So whether the barometer is rings or stats (stats being my preferred barometer considering in the NBA Bob Horry has like 8 rings) Brady outtrumps Montana and Manning in both regular and post season I agree Tom is the GOAT. He didn't always have a great supporting cast at WR yet still won titles. The WRs were good for the most part and he had Moss for a only a couple of seasons late in Moss's career. Other WRs, Troy Brown, Deion Branch, David Givens, Wes Welker, Edelman, an oft-injured Gronk. Montana had Rice and John Taylor along with Roger Craig at RB who was a great receiver and rusher. Peyton had Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne along with Marshall Faulk and Edgerin James at RB who were both in Roger Craig's box. I'd definitely argue (successfully ) that Tom did more with less. Credit to the brainiac that is Bill Belichick too. The absence of Brady will be more of a test of his abilities than Tom's. Was it the system or was it Tom? Or both? Yes, this is a critical point, Montana had the greatest receiver of all time for basically a decade, Tom Brady had Randy Moss for two seasons, but did not even win a ring with him. Brady mainly had decent slot receivers who he made look better but certainly not a difference maker like Julio Jones, Mike Thomas for the Saints, or DeAndre Hopkins.

The man has decided to take his talents to Tampa. I don’t follow them very close but it seems the Bucs have a very pass heavy offense so that makes sense. Interesting move still, I thought he’d want to go somewhere that was already a contender, however, most contenders have a decent QB they believe in so eh what do I know.
Now, does Winston go to New England?? Little QB swap perhaps? Very talented guy lacking discipline and awareness. Does Belichick see something in him?

I think Tampa Bay is closer than you think to being a contender. They went 7-9 with 6 losses that were 1 possession or less and Jameis threw 30 picks...

Guess if TB goes to the Bucs it will all depend on how easy a schedule they get. If it is against better teams, TB is going to look average at best. Have to ask, if the season is delayed, how fast is TB going to pick up on the Bucs offense. I know he is considered the GOAT but after 20 years with the same "plan" one would have to be considered pretty dang good, I would imagine compared to a first year with a new offensive plan.
Something along the line of old dog and new tricks.

But Brady has been a practitioner of the game at the highest level for 20 years, he’ll probably already know more than enough about their system to pick it up without too much trouble.

Ok! Can’t ignore it any longer! Rick Spielman (Vikings GM) looks exactly like Dr. Finkelstein (Nightmare Before Christmas)!

Went to the Pro Bowl in his 1st season there. Took them to 2 playoff appearances and the AFC title game in 93.
If that's a disaster sign me up!

I think Mark Sanchez signed up for that his first two seasons with the Jets
