Brothers Matt and Noah Calvin admit in a New York Times interview that they bought up all of the hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes that they could find across Tennessee and Kentucky after the first U.S. coronavirus death was reported on March 1, with the intent to resell them at a profit as public panic around COVID-19 kicked in.

More like a risk without much reward. Those people are going to take a loss on their "investment".

Hopefully most people understand a $1 bar of soap is just as good as any hand sanitizer and lasts longer.

I'd thumb you up for this heads up, but it may be taken as I agree with what this man is trying to do. We have to keep politics out of here (the forum) but this virus should not be political, it should be about humanity.

One good thing I hope comes out of this is the stopping of handshakes. Always hated this dumb tradition. I prefer the first pump or even better a bow.

Another thing I noticed is people are trying not to touch doors or any high traffic surfaces. I have done that for years. Taught my son's that a long time ago. Hopefully people will continue to do so after this settles down. Probably not.

Cuba are already pretty far ahead into the vaccine research. Before the outbreak even happened they had a treatment that can fully restore a persons immune system that is under attack from a respiratory disease. According to the Chinese, this medicine (Alpha-2b) ensures that coronavirus becomes non lethal.

Indeed it should be a humanitarian issue, but you can always rely on western governments to politize it to the max.

Savannah is completely sold-out of generators... Cause we all know that Hurricane Corona is now a CAT 5 with sustained winds of 170 mph !?! Plus, somebody got stabbed at Wal-Mart over a case of water. It better have been Dasani, cause if you were the stabee or staber over a case of Zephyrhills, priorities need adjusting. However, I'm also finding myself occasionally thinking hurricane because it's just something that gets ingrained in your psyche when living on the coast. Only difference is that I'm "encouraged" to work during a hurricane but Coronavirus has given me 2 weeks paid leave.

I've seen no proof of that. The article posted from a tweet you posted is in German so I can't read it.

Let me see some proof that I can verify independently.
