Steve, are you saying that you can play a tour in offline mode, and you get less/no ball squirts? I wish, but no you are limited to a few dozen courses. What I was saying is that I had been selected in that tour for a clean round. |

School boy stuff yet again. Its turned into a war of opinions rather than a discussion about solving the problem. The black and whites of it are NOBODY KNOWS WHY IT IS HAPPENING so everybody opinions are as right as the last persons. Personally i notice the ball squirts to the right most when there is a cloud directly above my golfers head and the ball squirts to the left when i wear my socks inside out.

Crazy idea but has anyone tried a new controller? Just maybe our controllers are wearing out just a tad since game came out and that's why more and more plyers are having same problem. I know in TW Golf I had that problem and new controller made a huge difference. Just a thought... and I always love a new controller. I have played a million holes since release. Maybe it will help? I have 2 DS4's for my PS4. The original one I've used since PC Early Access and another one I bought about 6 weeks ago. Both appear to play the same to me - but now i always have one on full battery. On a separate note, it occurred to me that we are asking for this little $35 game to become a $60 Triple A .... I need to keep that in perspective when I suggest improvements. It's a credit to the studio that we act like it's already a $60 Triple A. You are correct with this, it is a $35 dollar game and HBS can only fix so many bugs a patch. They are working on other titles as well, I'm sure. As I said before, I do feel this is a bug, but I also feel HBS isn't in any hurry to fix it as it really isn't mission critical. People can still play the game, it is something that happens to everyone so it is "technically fair" as it gives no one specifically an advantage and compared to other bugs it is minor. |

I think the way these threads are going lately is cause for concern. I have read two long threads in the past few days and it seems to be the same couple of people who are quick to go on the attack when someone dares to disagree with them. Pub night happened to question something, after all this was meant to be a discussion, he was attacked,shot down and basically accused of talking shite, because he did not agree with the 2 most vociferous people on here. People who now seem to attack anyone that does not agree with them.
As Job Fickett's put it the other day , i was thinking you were either trolling or you are a F!@£:!@ idiot. I like him have come to the same conclusion, it is definitely the latter.

How can you fix a problem that was not of your doing? According to you you were doing nothing wrong,yet you have fixed it. How can this be? Maybe pubnight had a point, maybe your swing was not as perfect as you thought. It can't be HB's fault after all then can it? if you fixed it so easily without the game being updated. And if you can fix it , there's hope for us all

If you don't see me for a week then you'll know I went too far, lol. Took me awhile to find one that worked too...I'd advise you against googling "ball squirt" if you are in a public setting.  |

When the conversation goes from civil discourse to silly and stupid meaningless attacks, it is no longer a discussion. Steve and I have been talking about this for months and inviting anyone to the conversation who would listen. For the most part there weren't many to begin with who wanted to talk about it. I had personal messages calling me names and posts that said I was seeing things, too sensitive or just plain wrong.
Now we have a full 8 page thread dedicated to something some of us were talking about in Dec 2014 and even now, the silly attacks continue from some people. I, for one, am not trying to make this personal. It is an issue that effects the vast majority of players and I have shared my own findings in an effort to help others understand this issue.
I guess Steve has come to a point where he doesn't feel it is worth while helping out any more and I can't say I blame him, there is no reason for personal attacks whether in jest or not, especially on a subject he has dedicated so much time to.

i will just say this, i am now onboard with steve (and any other secret members) we are forming a cult, we worship the ball, but its bad when it squirts, its mad when it squirts, and we must be punished when it does.

Gotta laugh at these 2. I'd put em on par with the chuckle brothers. Some of your points are decent but the way you talk down at people isn't. You go on as if just because you both have put a bit of effort in to solve the problem that nobody else is allowed to say their own thoughts. If your going to act like that you might as well send each other messages privately as your only happy when people agree with you. Grow up!

Ball Squirt is real, to say otherwise, is laughable at this point. It may not happen to everyone at the same rate, but it is indeed a real thing, if one simply takes every angle given in this thread that shows its real, to come out on the other side and disagree that its real, .....there just are no words to describe that. ball going right, after being hit while the hit was missed left, the wind heading left, the lie heading left...is the biggest red flag one can observe, and this indeed happens. its not about agreeing and disagreeing, its about ignoring the truth, if that table is in the kitchen, then its freaking in the kitchen and not the living room. this thread was not intended to debate whether ball squirt was real or not, if one wants to debate that, start a new thread, this thread was about collecting information on ball squirt, and i believe it may result in a fix. |
