I have finalized the regular tours this week and there was a sharp drop off in numbers even from just last week. So I've updated the actual tour sizes to help top up the tours properly.
Ideal Tour Size/AVG Field Size/Initial Slots AvailablePGA 135/130 = 5 slots available Euro 155/103 = 52 KF 155/133 = 22CCA 140/125 = 15 CCB 140/136 = 4 CCC 140/129 = 11 CCD 140/141 = -1 CCE 120/133 = -13 CCF 120/118 = 2 CCG 120/110 = 10 CCZ 120/67
Promotion Event #2 results won't be posted for a few more hours.

Doyley what is the logic behind making the CC pro/am ideal field size 140/120 ?? With more players in those ranks, wouldn't it make more sense to have a slightly larger ideal size? Like 160/140 as it was for promo #1? Most of the average sizes are about the anyway.. Just curious.. Not enough players - if we make cc-pro ideal at 160 - we'll deplete the CC-am flights to having some fields in the 40-50 range. We are already bumping up 70+ from the CC ranks to Pro ranks and it's the holiday season so participation is generally at its lowest point in the season. We'll bump them back up next time if there's enough active players.

Had to make some major changes to the Ideal Field sizes of CC-Pro due to the massive amount of promotions on the Pro tours (mainly Euro/Korn Ferry) and lack of people/scores to backfill the CC-Am tours. All CC-Pro flights went from 140 ideal size to 120.
Summary for Promo Event #2 (202 promotions given out)
Total of 111 Pro Tour cards handed out - going to be a lot of new blood dealing with their first cut on Thursday (79 of the 111)

Looks like I’m moving to KF Just hope I can compete. You missed Euro by a stroke While I’d enjoy competing against you in euro, I think KF better suits my ability. Best of luck up there!

Promotions haven't been processed. Did I make a mistake by playing my first round of Euro?

From CC-F to Korn Ferry for me. Wish I’d done a little worse, because that will be hard. Not regularly at that level.

Bummer, means my -26 likely won't get me a bump up...

These numbers will be updated after this week but here's an early look. Probably will be less than usual available but when all is said and done still 100-150 promotion slots will be given out this time around. Ideal Tour Size/AVG Field Size/Initial Slots AvailablePGA 7 slots available **will backfill each voluntary demotion request that is approved so this will be a moving number Euro 155/133 + 7 = 15 KF 155/160 = -5CCA 140/158 = -18 CCB 140/130 = 10 CCC 140/134 = 6 CCD 140/144 = -4 CCE 120/150 = -30 CCF 120/139 = -19 CCG 120/121 = -1 CCZ 120/54

From the outside looking in, wouldn't it be fair to let the top ranked Euro players (Money list/cuts made) fill the immediate gaps left by PGA players opting for demotion? The Euro players that are grinding out weekly at a high level seem like they should earn those slots, or at least half of them. To me if a player wants out of PGA and the top Euro players want into PGA a swap of some kind seems more fair/realistic then giving the spots to someone who shoots well above their average over one promotion event(4 rounds on one course). Grant it some players truly are that good and will deserve the promotion. Not trying to cause a problem, just one mans observation. Note: This would not affect me at all as I'm like the 90th best Euro player

PGA - CC-Z Can-O-Worms?
