Hi all

I have only been with TGC about a month and this is my first contest.

I am going with Swiss theme, have the surrounding scenery done and the course routing.  All holes have been designed.  Just need to do the tee boxes and pin positions and planting.

Layout is as follows:

My first attempt too. Good luck with your design. I’m sure we are going to learn a lot about the designer and our own ability but hey gotta start somewhere right?

I use PS4 as well, it’s a bit of a faff but to upload photos I’ve done this..
- set up a twitter account
- take a screen shot of whatever you want
- PS4 then asks if you want to save to Twitter (link your account to TGC)
- open twitter and copy the image address.
- add image to your thread and paste the image address into the URL box

Hope that makes sense, because with photos the more experienced designers will be able to help you

I hate twitter and won't sign up with. Have enough social media platforms that i don't post to.

I'll just save screenshots and then transfer to USB and then upload on PC

That's the way I did it when designing on PS4 - bit of a pain, but works easily enough and I had the same feelings regarding Twitter.

Goodluck in your first design comp. The end result is to learn as much as possible in an effort to become a better designer..... enjoy.

Exactly. It is more to get some feedback from judges to see what I am doing right in my designing and what can be improved.
