I will continue to update the distances on the first post as I do the holes but I have pretty much designed all the holes, just need to do the tee boxes green slopes and pin positions and then will only have the planting left. Some of the holes the planting is easy and speaks for itself what to do, others will take a bit of working out. I am progressing along quite nicely and plan on getting a bit done the next 2 nights. I may even upload some more pics to show some of the planting but want to keep a few things secret until published.

Planting has started on various holes besides the pic of the first I have done. Currently have 4-5 holes in various stages of planting, mostly to fill in ravines or natural depressions and have tried to keep them all looking consistent. the 18th now has a lake between tees and fairway (means less planting to do lol) but I feel improves the hole and ties in nicely with the course. Not sure if I will add a creek or stream leading into it and away for the main river or keep it as an artificial lake, will have to see how the rest of the landscape ties in and it it would have anything flowing naturally.

All holes now fully laid out and now have 4 weeks to finish the planting before going on vacation for 11 days. Will have about a week when I get back to do finishing touched before deadline closes. 1st hole needs more work but mostly done, 10th, 14th, 15th and 18th have also had starts made. Waterfall is mostly done too and I have adjusted lighting and fog slightly plus increased the number of trees in settings to make it more like playing in a forested area.

Besides that first hole which still needs some work, I have completed the 12th and partially done 3, 7, 10, 14, 15, 18. The 3rd hole is the reason I am not going to release a beta as I have something there that I don't think I have ever seen on any course in the game but goes nicely with the Alpine theme.
For those curious about pin placements and difficulty, here is how each pin set has gone with each tee box using beginner clubs.

Of course this is not a true indication because I am not the best putter and can make some difficult putts, miss easy ones. Just depends on if I can be bothered taking the time to allow for slope or not. It does show however that pinset 3 is the hardest and the others are all similar on any given round.

? - total number of elk on course ? - total number of squirrels on course 3 - total number of bridges on course 2 - total number of waterfalls on course
Will anyone be able to find all those animals when released?

Currently have 3 holes planted and have changed the lighting so it is 9:30 and not 7:30. Has allowed me to do the heavy rough better as I can see it clearly now. Feel it makes every hole look better too. A few stats regarding the course.

Ha love that post Dave, 126 bunkers! Does a waste bunker count as 1? So far I’ve got one goat, which was added in a delirious state at 1am following 4 hours of bunker shaping |

@riotous A waste bunker would probably only count as one but depends on how many connect. Oscar C I have only used a third of plant meter so still have plenty to go |

I have been working on the planting. 4 holes completely done, 10 partially done. Goats are only animals in so far but I am happy with how things are going. My beat work so far and now I know all the other courses I has in progress before joining here need to be reworked as I have already learnt so much being in the course regardless of result just from tips from others.

Update for anyone interested. 11 holes done, 4 partially done and 3 untouched. Object meter is 65-70% of which so much was from the water features and bodies at the start. On track to finish before I go on vacation on 25th Sept - 6th Oct.
