If there are selfish people who have no interest in pro clubs, then I already suggested that you play more society golf where you can play many many masters events , but as far as TGC TOURS is concerned, if people want a fair shot at playing against all platforms , then it has to be with pro clubs. This is FACT , from TGC TOURS . Opinions are like arseholes , everybody has one , but some arseholes are bigger than others , especially patronizing argumentative ones , who have nothing better to do than create drama . Master clubs should only be used for non competitive golf because there is no competition when one platform has an overwhelming advantage against another . Anyone who uses the phrase I , or Me , is not getting the point of this . It’s not all about YOU princess , it’s about 4000 players Again, I am 100% behind having a fair shot for all, so I am behind the Pro clubs only thing for a cross platform TGCT. I also have no interest in outside TGC Societies, so that is why I advocate for a Masters club only tour(s) here for the rest of us as I do not wish to use Pro clubs at all.
Note that I am in agreement with TGCT going with an official Pro clubs stance for the regular tours, but at the least let me have a side tour if not to play along side of them with the Masters clubs (I am okay with being put aside here to a non-official tour), at least let me have a tour for like minded Masters clubs users.

Master clubs are for the bottom of the barrel ,dregs of society scum of the earth , you can find those societies quite easily , just look for classy crawesy and his gimp , davie , they have lots of societies where real master club users hang out

Joking aside , master clubs have a big part to play on this game , but with the facts that TGC TOURS provided regarding the difference in API between ps4 and other platforms , it’s not even funny , it’s not even competitive , and it cannot be regarded as fair . Master clubs are great , but they do not give a true representation of who the best players are . Will pro clubs do that Well, only one way to find out!

It will never be in Tgtours' best interest to create a separate Masters only tour as a side interest should they decide to go Pro only for cross platform sake. The current TST is sufficiently different enough and as such allows people to play on main tours too and Beginner tour is of such a niche nature that it won't affect the main tours. A Masters only side show would tear this place in half

This seems like a nice inclusive place, so I’d be surprised if that happened. At the moment I can’t think of anything that is excluded completely, apart from cheaters. I find masters clubs much more enjoyable than pro clubs. I’m happy playing the tours using master clubs, and I don’t care that i might be at a competitive disadvantage. My main disadvantage is that i’m not very good! My main reasons for playing the tours are that it tracks stats outside of the game, it’s a big community, it’s a nice community, and it gets rid of cheaters. There is no society that comes anywhere close.

I play on PC and accept my disadvantage to PS4 Master users as it is what it is and move on, but I hate having an advantage over X-Box Masters players. One thing I can think of that has been excluded this season is fairness

Playing on PC - surely playing pros can't be that easy can it? (I only play Masters)
So I tried.....
Pro clubs = auto straight, auto P/P. Chipping / flopping are ridiculously easy compared with Masters, and putting is slightly easier. No challenge whatsoever for the top players (which I'm not, being just a medium PGA player) First ever pro clubs round = -14 without having a clue on rollout, wind effect, lie effect with those clubs. Welcome to -70 to win each week. Changing to enforcing pro clubs would be the most stupid decision the admins could make (equal with splitting the platforms)

Pro Clubs are not as easy for me on PC. Massive jump from Beginner Clubs to Pros.
I don't ever see myself playing with anything other than Beginner Clubs competitively.
Pro clubs aren't auto straight, auto P/P. In fact i played with them yesterday for a bit and it was not great.
I am not a top player so i don't know if that matters or not.

Sure hope we don’t go to pro clubs only. The entire season would have an asterix beside every winner. Everyone would know that the results really aren’t the best at all. This goes against the grain of competition. It really does. I get the imbalance thing, but why change it now? Maybe just give an extra promo spot to the xb and pc crowd instead? I think that would be more fair than forcing a weaker club set for all. At least that’s my opinion on the matter. Does that mean every winner from TGC1 needs an asterix next to their name as we didnt play with the hardest driver setting where it was fully lofted and the cone was almost invisible?

IMHO, don’t care what other players shoot on PS or computer...only Xbox. I’d be fine with a TGCTour just for Xbox players. When I play my CC Pro or TST weekly tourneys, I never wonder how I did versus others platforms.

I play on Xbox and this week I started the tournament with master clubs but after two relatively poor rounds, in desperation I played the last two with pro clubs to try and rescue a descent position but to no avail. (Yes I’m one of those who switched) These are my stats for the two rounds and as you can see there is little difference between the driving stats for either club set where I find the difference is GIR which you can see is a little different. I find the main difference is proximity to the hole giving you a better chance of holing a putt and my opinion is there is no difference in putting using the master set or the pro set, the swing is so slow that it’s easy to keep it between the blue line, my problem is I’m not good at reading the break. This week I’ve finished 148th in a field of nearly 200 and picked up two strikes all because I tried to play the tournament with master clubs on Xbox. My point is it’s not the driving or putting that caused my problems it’s the inaccuracies with the irons. If you hit P/P you generally hit the spot your aiming for but when you get a P/F or a P/S downswing you generally playing from the backs of the greens. Either a long putt or a chip. I say let anyone play either Master or Pro on any of the top tours not that I’m going to get up there.

I believe I remember the data showing when it came down to scoring the so called disadvantage was something like 2 or 3 strokes.
That is a difference of whether or not you're 1 putting or 2-3 putting on a couple of holes.
I mentioned before, Thought XB was broken initially, but sticking with the clubs for the season, Shots are much better. So for those saying they cannot play with the highest difficulty, IMO, just haven't used them long enough.
Repeat, it's all about having fun. Choose your sticks and hit the damn ball!!
