Are you going to publish the results?
Was super marginal on the "Pro Clubs" for all tours question! Opted for no, but had it been there I would have checked the option... "Completely understand if you feel it necessary to make this choice".

Yes, I'll publish the results when done - plan to let it run for a week or until the responses dry up - hope to grab more of the gen pop that doesn't visit forums as well - so want it on the main page a few days.

Will the link be sent out as a mass e-mail to those that don't go to the main page or for those that gave up as they couldn't compete, maybe they would have some good feedback? I wasn't sure how to answer the Promotion event question as I've been on PGA so haven't been in one so just put down the option of "Whats a promotion event" I did vote for Pro Clubs for all if it balances out all platforms and negates the flickers. |

I've never played anything but Master Clubs. I never thought the accuracy of Pros was so much more than Masters but the distance is vastly better with Masters.

Maybe have a Master Club Tour that uses the PGA course each week the same as the Beginner Tour uses the CC-Am course? At least players that want to use those can do so with like minded players and no one will be alienated? |

I could go for that if Pro clubs were only for the main tours.
With the narrower cone and more difficult chip/flop/pitch game, the distance advantage is negated vs. a Pro club user. Unfortunately that is an opinion and this opens up a can of worms, so I say that as an opinion but I do give some empirical evidence by mentioning what happens on CC tiers when Master and Pro club users are paired together. Concessions have been made (CC-A notably) to emphasize that Pro clubs have an (as a TGCT whole, not user by user) overall advantage over the Master club user.
But again, if implemented I could go for a separate tour that uses Master clubs only. Just remember that Master club users are a large part of the TGCT base, whereas beginner clubs users are a lower percentage of the users here. One tour only may not be enough, but I am getting ahead of the game here.
i simply asked the question to Doyley because i wanted more info for my vote and for others as well. An option for "Pro clubs for main tours with a side tour(s) for Master club users" would have been a better option than a black and white yes/no option.

I have asked that if a member starts a tourney with a certain club set on tour that that member must stay with that set for the entire tournament.
I think that is fair.

Being pretty new to TGC I’m using Pro Clubs as I get used to the game, I’m going to start trying Masters once the season finishes.
Only comment I’d make is that in my ideal world the conditions would get a little harder as you go up the CC tours, not sure if this is feasible or not.
But I think the set up you’ve got is fantastic and can’t thank you enough! Donations will be coming!

Said no to pro clubs throughout, should be masters in top but I gave ideas about promotion marks for different systems.

Signed sealed and delivered only issue I had was green speed winds these maybe should have allowed multiple selection. Would been better gauge especially greenspeed what's universally disliked (so tours could pick it mostly lol only kidding).
I have suggested few ideas some for playing the other designers. One think more need get promoted and countback should not be used for promotion it's slightly unfair.
The other for designers I would like to see new tournament called showcase this just relaxed new tournament open to any just to give courses a chance that yet make a tour a window and a Avenue to get on tour down the line. With the help of feedback we can give these courses a voice.
