Anyone know who "MikeB" is on the course claimer? I'm interested in looking at Scioto, but don't want to step on his toes if he's already working on it... can't seem to find his tag on the forums, so if anyone knows where I could find him, that would be great. MikeB is Mike Branca. I do not know about Scioto, but he also did Black Diamond (Quarry). Also, for everybody's information, I sorted the course list alphabetically and cleaned it up a bit, removing the double posting of the same course in different states of completion (one of which was my own lol). |

This is random and just curious but.. Anyone still working on Alotian? Was it dropped, and if so, why? Just signed in because I was wondering the same thing. Maybe Doyley has the inside scoop? *EDIT* Just saw the replies to that post. Curious if there's been any further developments since Jan/Feb. |

After some PMing with Doyley I did take a look at the plot and built a new course file three or four months ago. The problem I had was that just starting from scratch the meter was over 50%, presumably due to such rugged terrain, and this course has a lot of trees on it. I did not feel up to the challenge. The same issue caused me to quit working on Cascata Golf Club, The meter was high and because the redraw time on my borderline laptop was about 5 - 10 seconds between placements I quit working on it. Might be fine for someone with a high-end rig though. |

I have not designed a course since the first Golf Club, and have never messed with Lidar before...so naturally getting back into this i figured I'd try this route rather than creating my own. I am working on Inverness in Toledo.
Thanks to those who have helped me out already with basic info, like Neal and theclv.

M. Rose , xusemagru , dace - yes the course claimer sheet is an active thing. You are supposed to enter your own data into the spreadsheet, just writing it in a post will do you no good as it will get lost in the shuffle. I have just gone through the sheet and re-alphabetized by Name. You can just add your claims to the end as I re-sort it every now and again.

Hello all, I just registered here. I was curious about getting started on Oakmont Country Club but it looks like it’s already been completed according to the sheet. I imagine that not all of the clubs have been imported to 2K21 from TGC 19, but I was curious if anyone could import OCC or only the designer. I see that the creator is NobleMan, but I’m not sure if they’re still an active member of the forum. Thanks! |

Since it is a Lidar course it was done on PC, so if someone could get ahold of the course file they could Publish it. |

It's not Lidar, so folks are free to debate the accuracy, but if you're itching to play Oakmont, I expect mine to be ported over by the end of next week, or shortly thereafter.

Browsing through and came across this... I did a lot of work on Scioto. I put it on pause for the new game hoping there would be some useful new assets to build the clubhouse. I did start it back up.
