Is this list still being used these days and if so is it now just for completed courses ? The ones I had originally claimed aren't on there anymore as far as I can tell unless I'm just being blind or stupid  PGA de Catalunya (Stadium) was one of the ones I had claimed and put on the list that I had at the fully OSM traced and imported stage. In the last week or so I discovered that @andersnm had recently started to do that course as well. I don't have any issue with that at all, and obviously he is free to do whatever course he wants, but I'm guessing he may not have chosen that particular course if he knew I had already claimed it beforehand which in turn could have saved him a lot of time and effort. Anyway it 's all good in the end as since I realised he had also started it we have chatted a bit via PM and it's looking like we are going to do both the Catalunya courses - Stadium and Tour - in some form of collaboration together which I'm sure will be great fun for us both  . It also should work quite well as we each have other projects in progress at the same time so a collab will free up some time for us to do those as well. Back to the list...….I have some other lidar courses that are also partially done and at a similar stage to that one so I don't really want the same thing to happen again to those. If nothing else I wouldn't want to cause another designer to waste time working on something I have already done or started. To avoid that I'll add the ones I had claimed back on to this list, but before I do I wanted to check if there is a separate list for incomplete courses as well now ? I've had a quick look but didn't see one anywhere. I have not been reading this part of the forum, so I was quite unaware of such a list. I usually just scan the "under construction" to see what is being done. Are we back to doing both courses? Then I need to go back to my first file with both courses and not waste time on just one course  |

Doh !  I had just edited my post to add the names of the other courses I mentioned (plus some other stuff) but before saving the additions I misclicked something by accident and all the edits vanished  Aaaargh !  Anyway the courses in rough order of completion % are the following : Hillside Finca Cortesin Real Sotogrande Royal Dornoch I also wanted to do Monte Rei at some point but so far I haven't managed to find anywhere to get lidar data for Portugal from, so if anyone knows of somewhere please let me know |

Then I need to go back to my first file with both courses and not waste time on just one course To be honest I can't remember exactly what we said, and I'm not sure if we actually made a final decision or not  but I also thought you were concentrating on your other project first ? I guess it depends on the size and free plant meter space of a file that has unmasked lidar covering both courses at once. If it is decent and workable then we can still do both even if it ends up with doing one before the other or whatever. But that's something for us to discuss somewhere else than this thread |

I've had a quick look but didn't see one anywhere. Han, I too noticed that most if not all of the uncompleted courses were gone from the Lidar Claimer. I heard nothing about why that was, but as far as I am concerned you should add the ones back that you have claimed. I know NobleMan has done or is doing a boatload of courses that are not on the list. I am going to tag Scott Doyley with this post as he is the one who set the list up in the first place. |

Adding those courses back onto the list for now just in case I forget to do it later down the line I'm going to include Monte Rei as well just in case anyone manages to find anywhere to get data for Portugal from *crosses fingers *Edit - As I was adding them into the list most of them auto-filled the name in when I started typing it. I'm no expert with Google docs so I don't know if that means the spreadsheet just recognises that they had already been inputted before, or that they are still in there somewhere but perhaps accidently hidden away ? |

Looks like there was a filter set so a lot of the courses weren't showing up - I've turned it off - other than that, looks like the sheet is good to go still.

I went back into the sheet and noticed that I had Sand Hills in there twice so I removed it. I also sorted the sheet alphabetically A-Z to make it easier to find what you are looking for. I also noticed that chadgolf had removed his claim on the Streamsong courses, does anybody know why? |

Yea the course were gone so I figured it was a worthless list .. GOD only know how many courses I have done since that sheet went down. |

Added St Annes Old Links GC to the list No idea how you edit it to be in right order don't want to mess it up like the one we had for real courses at Hb forum.Not a TGC tours course but just added to list as completed.
PS you would need another sheet how many i have on my system if i put them under claimed,so i will add once i finish them.Got to get Princes Done but its so much work and the file is large.

I just posted to the google sheet my first ever Lidar course.
I am beginner, so I started small - with short par 3 course: First Warsaw - Executive (my home course here in Poland). It is so annoying, that playing golf in TGC2019 is so much easier than playing in real life. In real life my best score is -4 (I scored Hole In One on that occasion). In the game I easily beat that on first, second or third attempt :-) But at least it plays pretty much like the real thing.
I hope the designing experience gained, will help me with future projects.

Not sure how the process works, but I just got the game for PC after owning it on PS4 for over a year. I just did my first Lidar import of Keller GC in St Pauls Minnesota as a test for me. (I called it Maple GC Test)
Most of the Canadian courses Im familiar with have no publicly available Lidar data from what I can see.
I definitely see some areas that need work, as the Lidar was from 2011, while the course did a big renovation around 2014. Some teeboxes imported very sloped, and some greens are very bad. The Lidar is working good with some holes, but other holes definitely dont line up with the more new OSM splines based on the renovation.
Not sure Keller will work out......The front 9 is workable, but I dont know if just bad data or a bad import but the back 9 improed horrendously. Doesnt match up at all with what I remember of the course.

Anyone know who "MikeB" is on the course claimer? I'm interested in looking at Scioto, but don't want to step on his toes if he's already working on it... can't seem to find his tag on the forums, so if anyone knows where I could find him, that would be great.
