No chance. The green is heavily playing away from her and that back bunker is around 7-8ft deep. She made bogey.

Loved how the center green bail left a looooong birdie putt as well. That hole would create a forum meltdown if used in TGCT assisted tours. Or maybe not since distance control is so OP in game...

There's bold, and then there's Raynor... My favorite architect. It's sad how so many people in the golfing world have no idea who he is. Smh.

There's an architectural renaissance happening right now and Raynor is in the thick of it, look at how many of his courses have recently been restored, and I'm flying the flag here on TGC. His work is way too good to be overlooked!

A cheeky look at McKenzie's original 16th hole at Augusta National, and in colour.

Reverse redan, sort of?
Or too short for that?

Sent this to Petty earlier, but thought it might be cool enough to share. Not sure if it fits the "golden age" thing in any other way than that fact that it's old lol but anyway...
After my Grandfather passed several years ago, this was one of the things I wanted to have with me to remember him, something that used to hang in his and my Grandmother's house which I can remember seeing back when I was much younger and starting to cultivate my passion for golf. No clue about the origins of the work, probably just a regular artistic sketch if I had to guess, but I believe it's from the mid '70s and still in pretty good shape since it's been framed the entire time. Figured it there were folks who could appreciate such a sentimental, but golf nerdy thing, it would be here

Reverse redan, sort of? Or too short for that? Considering older golf clubs, this is probably an average distance for a redan. Definitely looks to be built as one.

Played this morning with CiB0RG at The Knoll C.C. (West) in New Jersey, a 1929 Charles Banks design. Lots of visually striking holes and cavernous "steamshovel" bunkers and a pretty wild set of greens that I somehow managed zero three putts on. The Biarritz from the tee and from the side: Not sure if this is a template but the green might have been a Maiden? Gigantic thumbprint where the pin was. The Redan. My ball cleared the kicker slope by about 5 yards and went into the back right bunker. Miraculously, I made par. Ok, just found out that the green that you thought might have been a Maiden, is actually the double plateau. Stroke index 1 as well. Sounds like a bit a of gripper...
