I'd be willing to help out with Royal Dornoch. What year is the LiDAR from? I'm trying to figure out if it has the 5300yd front tees or not.
Can't remember what year it was from to be honest. I can send you the course file to help with alignment etc If you are on PC. PM me about it if that's of any interest / use to you. I PM'ed you. I'm still new to this stuff so trying to learn quickly

Here is a list of courses that I am interested in. The order may change, but these are courses that I will probably someday add OSM data for, and hope that there is Lidar data for. This is both as an FYI in case anyone wants to see these courses in the game or use the OSM data, and also as a request, as in if you can beat me to these I would be extremely grateful for anyone who adds OSM data to these courses: Prairie Dunes (KS)
I have access to the raw LAS files for Prairie Dunes (KS) if you're interested. I've never messed with this stuff before, but play TGC19 and thought my local course would be fun to play.
EDIT: I went ahead and figured out how to do all this stuff. I've got the course in TGC and am now working on minor tweaks and edits.

I’ve just started mapping out Harbour Town in OSM, taking a little while to do (someone previously poorly mapped it out so I’m having to delete and redo) but I should be done in 1-2 weeks... was wondering if I should map the pine straw? It’s hard to see in aerial imagery but using Google earth 3D imagery I can kind of figure it out. I do not have TGC on PC, so I cant do this course myself- just wondering if it would be preferable to have that pine straw already there when someone imports it...?
EDIT: Situation has been figured out, no need to respond.

Hi everyone,
I own the game for PS4 but am waiting for a Steam saleto buy the game on PC to help get into this mapping as there a few courses I have in mind that are special to me. I can still do them in OpenStreetMap for when that happens.
I was wondering though if there is anyway for me to do the OSM, have someone do the lidar, and than me edit the course on PS4 for trees and other ameneties? Its the sculpting of the land accurately that I hate on PS4 but am fine with the other design elements.

But you will be able to design on your PC then when you publish you can play the course on your PS4 like I do with the Xbox.

I'm brand new to course design and these mapping tools, and am starting to map Sedgefield CC (Wyndham course). There any experienced mappers who would like to take a look and see how I've done so far? If there's anyone who really loves to do this as a hobby and wants to help with mapping I'd be open to that as well. I really want to get a good Lidar version of the course in the game, but I'm just dipping my toes in, the amount of work required seems rather daunting right now.

Anyone got any interest in doing caves valley? Due to host 2021 BMW open, has hosted a senior US open. Sounds like a really good course.
I have no connection to it. Just came across it whist looking at other course info. It's near Baltimore, so imagine the data will be good...

I dont even know if Lidar exists for it but I just did my home course, Dakota Dunes Golf Links. Used to host the Mackenzie Tour. Maybe the 2nd/3rd best course in the province.

My personal list (subject to updates): Royal Melbourne (Either course) (AU) Wolf Creek (NV) Barnbougle (AU) And a couple of personal requests: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club (China): Requested because it’s the longest course in the world and I bet I could make a lot of PGA players angry with it. Traditions (TX) and/or Miramont (TX): Two courses in my hometown that I have had the chance to play and that I think are fantastic courses. I, too, live where Traditions and Miramont are located and haven't had a chance to play either of them. If someone did designs for either of them, that would be way too amazing!
