So from my perspective, the only change required by TGC Tours or the Admins. is to restrict certain clubs from the CC-Flights. CC-Pro - A,B,C,D = Master clubs only CC-Am - E,F,G,Z = Pro Clubs only And the progression from Z to A would remain the same. So, if the current season would end today, and I was is CC-Z, using Pro Clubs. And if this new current season would say start tomorrow, then: A) As a current CC-Z player playing with Pro clubs I would stay put at CC-Z, and, B) If as a current CC-Z player playing with Master Clubs, but chooses to convert to Pro Clubs, I could stay at CC-Z, but, C) As a current CC-Z player playing with Master Clubs, and choosing to stay with Master Clubs, I would presume then, that I would be asked to re-take Q-School with Master Clubs, and would be issued an CC-Pro - D or higher card ? And of course vice versa. Thoughts ? Basically thatโs it under version one of the proposal.

There is no point handicapping yourself by using masters on the CC tours. On Xbox I get too many tempo issues. It's a good point Les and up until last night I had never used anything other than masters clubs since I got the game, not even in practice have I tried another club set. Last night I decided to play a round with pro clubs and the difference is night and day. As an experiment I'm going to play next weeks tourney with pro clubs and see how it goes. It goes against the grain for me personally but that's another issue.

How about promotion from top tier of CC pro clubs puts you into top tier of CC masters clubs? And promotion from CC masters is to web tour? Gives a good incentive to the CC pro players and means web tour flight isn't getting bypassed by the CC masters promoted players.

Loved the presentation last night Danny. Loved the idea to making changes for next season. Thanks as I appreciate the comment. The idea was not thrown out there for discussion without some decent thought behind it. โโTis now in the hands of the TGC Tour Gods for decision. ๐

Like 2 promo marks for placing top 20? XJ_Jagman, I do like the proposal in general. I'd like to see it as a promo system, like your version 1. If I happen to find myself in the pro tiers, I'll do what I must. I think the only problem with V2 is you may end up with a lot of unbalanced tours since the majority of players in the CC ranks are pro users, so the master tours may end up a little thin, which is why I like the promo system of V1. Not saying we would have to do another mass Q school, but A-D would go to masters, E-Z on pros, and then promotion up from there. We'll see what the future brings. Does anyone know if HB is going to do a yearly release of the game going forward, 2020, 2021, etc.. that may dictate how TGCT reacts..

You'll probably find a good percentage of those Pro club users are doing so because their hand has been forced by the unlevel playing field. Like me! I'd much rather be using Masters but 3 months of banging my head against a wall has forced me to change. This week (my first with Pro clubs) I've hit by far my best score of the season and I don't even feel like I played that well! It's a different game.
I enjoyed your presentation too Danny, well done. I don't envy the powers that be and this isn't their fault. Your ideas are at least the basis of a good way forward in my opinion. But whatever is decided, I'll still be here plugging away!

Agreed. I'm sure there are a lot of pro club players in CC ranks who would rather play masters clubs. Is there a link to Danny's presentation? I missed it.

Hey
Thought id through my opinion in. I'm fairly new here member since last December... luv the site.
I like the idea of the new set up I think the big problem with it is once you've opted in to either Pro or Masters your stuck with them for the season. I'm a perfect example of this. I'm currently in CC-F over the last 4 tournament's I've used Pros twice and Masters twice.
Depending on the course and how well I'm playing will depend on what club set I decide to go for. I'm sure there's plenty of member's who do this.
If the new set up comes in and I start with Master CC-D I'm pretty much stuck with them until I get demoted to CC-E.. same works the other way.
I do think there should be some kind of split with the Promo marks that caters to the Master club users. Even having the top 5 master players in each division getting a promo. So if you finished 30th with master clubs and 26 of the guys above use Pros you may still be in contention for a Promo Mark.
I've built and ran my own Fifa site in the past tho, and the coding involved even for minor changes can be a nightmare for Admin.
Id be happy either way.. its just good to have good community run site to come to and compete for fun
Cheers Keeno.

colgreenshields it's in this week's What's Going On in the Locker Room bit. Thanks mate, just watched it. Well done Danny, the presentation was good, will be interesting to see if anything can be implemented next season. I suppose we could have a new game by then so the club debate will be rinsed and repeated again no doubt.
