Very surprised no thread for the most played game in the world apparently.
Im no expert, quite noobish to this game (but having played a lot of COD and Battlefield in the past its coming back to me slowly).
Would be good to get some TGC squad matches, i dont wear my headset but happily will do if others fancy it.
Lets get a TGC roster up so we can add as friends and enjoy some squad battles etc.
My username is KenTremendous, so feel free to add me, i play on PC but it doesnt matter what you are on as its cross platform anyway.
Shout if you fancy a thrash around in the game sometime.

I have been trying to play this recently and have gone into playground mode a few times (to practice) but the amount of keybinds is unreal! Would take a long time to even get the different binds into muscle memory. Nothing like trying to build a 1x1 when getting shot at then accidently missing the wall in front of you  |

I play using a standard Dualshock PS4 controller on PC, same as TGC.
Makes life a lot easier.

I have seen from watching streams that if you get used to Keyboard/Mouse the building etc can become much quicker.

It can, but i can do it quickly enough on the pad, plus its so much easier i find to control movement and especially shooting.

Currently testing some keybinds and to be honest i don't mind using the Keyboard/Mouse. Moving around destroying things, opening chests etc is fine this way and i can do simple builds like 1x1s etc but incorporating this into gunfights while not jumping to my death will be the struggle I will do a bit of practice everyday until i feel comfortable to play solos. Eventually i want to start streaming Fortnite because i really enjoy watching it. |

I CAN'T BUILD
I prefer to play the game with no building at all, never got a solo's win (got 2nd once) camped a duo's win once lol.
I'm a complete noob at it and will never change that lmao.

I have more fun trying to win by not building... only ever happened once (it was because the dude it 2nd was outside of the circle.. lol

I am going to go into my first solo game by landing at Tilted and just getting used to gunfights straight away. I can easily put up walls/stairs to block gunfire if i need to. The problem is when you're in a gunfight above ground and need to keep jumping around while building at the same time.
The popular streamers make it look extremely easy.

Lol my son is 10 and has won over 50 times. He actually thinks the game is boring now but plays because his friends do.
Sometimes I watch him play and it's impressive how fast he builds stuff.
