Now I see Ninja is saying that it shouldn't be a lifetime ban.

Sorry, but anyone these days should realize that cheating is wrong.    Half the reason people do it is because they see others getting by with it.    Keep him banned Epic.   Send the message.   If you want people to believe your serious, don't back down, and other people will think twice about doing  it.    Like has been mentioned, the kid knew he might get banned, and did it anyway, because he didn't think he would suffer the consequences.

Last night I came the closest I have ever come to winning a BR match!!     

I had 4 kills total.     But had gotten to the top three (which I CAN do that pretty often),   and the circle was very small.  All 3 of us were close.   I knew where both others were, because one was actively after me, holed up in a house, and I had circled around that house trying to get the jump on them from behind.   While doing so, I saw the other person out of the corner of my eye.  I was just getting ready to head towards them,  when a rocket went by my head.  The first one in the house had spotted me.   So since the circle was already going in again, I rushed towards him, darting back and forth, dodging and managed to get up on the porch with them.  A small firefight happened, which I won, but all the while thinking, this ain't good, the other person knows exactly where we are.   

I gathered the stuff dropped, and by this time the circle was so small, we were very close, just a yard with bushes for cover.   So instead of healing in the open, I charged out and kept moving to make myself a harder target until I could find the other guy.    After a few seconds he pops out of cover and starts firing.    A small firefight with NO BUILDING!!  ensued, and although I got two good shots on him with my shottie,  he won the fight, as he probably was full health and shields.      

I was not disappointed.   All I could think was,  good game friend, that was an awesome finish.

Also, by the way,  Epic continues to evolve this game into other ways of enjoying it.   The new spy mechanics are pretty fun, it plays way more stealth now, and almost like Hitman-lite.     If you haven't played in a while, you might want to give it a try!

I got my first win of the new season on the weekend and I'm so proud. I played with my 12 year old nephew. Died of spawn and he went on to win it!

One of maybe the smaller changes of the new season I like is the limited snipers. Was so annoying being sniped from across the map while rotating all the time.

I do like this season but I'm not playing anywhere near as much as previous seasons.

I'm yet to get a win this season but I've played maybe 3 nights since it came out rather than every night previously

Just reporting in-

The other night, I got my first EVER Victory Royale, in solo mode!!!

Remember, I do not build.  It was an intense match, as most are, but I did not even realize it was down to two people. I was actually looking for health items, in a house, and could hear the people above me building and shooting.   I heard someone come down to ground level, outside the house, so I popped out the door and surprised them and took them down.    Completely surprised me when the Victory Royale screen then popped up!

For anyone that may be interested-

The new season of Fortnite is all about Marvel characters.  

I have not played it in months, but someone told me about this, so I went in and checked.   The rewards and skins are really cool, and I am not even a Marvel fan.   I've got friends that like Marvel, and they did not care for Fortnite, but they've jumped in and love the story and characters.

Just thought I'd let people know, if you or your kids like the Marvel universe.

I may be awful at golf, but I can apparently play shooter games.

The other night I got my 6th victory.    And I still do not build.    I've just figured out tactics against those that do.

The Marvel season has finished up, and the new season started this week.    The Marvel story was really really good.   I've heard a lot of people saying this past season of Fortnite was a better Marvel game than Marvel's own Avengers game.   I can see that.

The new season is about hunters/ bounty hunting, and seems to be focused on the Mandalorin.   I've not watched any of that, so it really don't mean anything to me.   But the new bounty hunting thing is fun.    And you can't go wrong with a character dressed as a cowboy, with flapjacks as a head, named ManCake.   ROFL!!!!

Had another milestone this week, as my squad, for the first time, got TWO victories in the same night.  We are coming together as working as a team.  I'm the sniper, they always give me the sniper rifle if we find one, and keep my outfitted with the best ones we run across.   I might have trouble making a 7 ft putt, but I sure can headshot a player from 200 meters.  So they tell me I've got the green light to take a shot anytime I feel I can make it, without asking  if we want to engage.   feels good.   Another guy in our group is our grenade carrier.  Since none of us build, he has taken the position of carrying a ton of grenades, and when we run up on builders, he just starts lobbing grenades at the base of whatever they are building, while the rest of us shoot.   It works well.

Anyway, just chronicling my fortnite, in case anyone else cares, its still a fun game.  Probably much better now than it ever was, for people that enjoy tactical shooters.
