You're right that swing path itself isn't easier as the game records the true swing path no matter what, but it's effectively the same thing since the obese beginner cones mean it's pretty difficult to go offline lol: Is that Beginner vs Pro feedback? My god there's not too much difference there IMO between the swing plane zone width. No sorry should have clarified, both beginner, 2nd one is putter, I'm guessing that's why it's different from the top one

What is the black line in the middle supposed to respresent?
And Les, OMG. And I thought some of my lines were funny. How do you even do that?

Here are my thought from a "Beginner" player on cc-z.
Initially I was upset that beginner is being placed in a "special" category and ready to just quit the TGCtour altogether. Why play in Beginner where the only incentive is to win and not be able to advance or get exemptions.
- I have trouble getting tempo on PRO - always getting slow or very slow on downswing making the ball take a very unnatural 45 degree angle which just looks awful on the screen. - Played Steam shovel this morning with PRO clubs - shot +7 on the front 9 (expected) and even par on the back 9. I did not worry about quickly pushing the Xbox controller up for downswing but instead focused on the ball and hitting straight which for some crazy reason seemed to reduce my slow and very slow shot? Regardless, that gave me a little optimism and I will try again tonight playing round 3 with Pro Clubs. If I land anywhere near par I will stick with PRO and hover around the bottom of the cc-z tour for awhile. I must admit I get no more satisfaction hitting perfect on PRO over Beginner clubs - just feel lucky and move onto the next shot hoping not to screw it up.

What did you shoot first 2 round this week w/ beginner?
Tip for pro, try not to worry so much about keeping the line straight. Focus only on tempo. Just try to feel like you are taking it back somewhat faster and forward with the same speed. On pro, it isn't too hard to keep the path in the blue plane, so focus on your tempo only.

That’s what happens when I hit the plastic at the end of my downswing the games still recording the stick movement so it records it going back to centre, then extrapolates a push shot usually. The black line is the backswing.

What I do on Xbox is try and make sure I pull the stick straight down for the backswing then I watch the top of the swing and just try and get a smooth changeover. Try and get it spot on at the top.

How about that feedback That would be a bullet-straight ball flight with the beginner club cone That’s a corker that one like Larry one of my best yet but I have had a few more funky ones I really must record them next time.

Rest assured that the majority of us non elite players struggle just the same with the master clubs, which is why the scores in the middle of the pack are more realistic. Obviously use of the master clubset is a personal choice, but even if you're struggling with pro, that's the whole point! Ray Morgan said it previously, it's not about hitting -18 every round, but when you do have a great round, it is so much more rewarding because you went through the struggles!

Any idea why it traces the swing AFTER the follow through? Say I've made my backswing/follow through/impact. Fairly straight on this theoretical swing. Why does the game care about where my club is when im on my way to the golf cart. These guys at HB are getting farther and farther away from the gem they had with all this fancy stuff

If HB don't resolve the XB1 tempo issues soon I am seriously thinking of going Beginner Club tour. It has a lot of positives: -Everyone effectively on the same difficulty across platform; - Most like TGC1 without the ability to fully pause at the top of the backswing; - Par 5's in the 500-550 yd range are still par 5's - Fewer random BS swing outcomes; - It makes reading the course more important than timing the BS tempo mechanic.
I hope there will be enough players that the good refugees from Masters and Pro can compete separately to the true beginners.
