We are changing our clubset policy effective Week 4. Beginner clubs will no longer be a valid option on the Challenge Circuit. We'll be creating a Beginner Clubs Tour specifically for that clubset.
Summary
1. All Challenge Circuit flights restricted to Master or Pro clubs only starting Week 4
2. Pro club users on CC-A will now receive promotion marks, but if promoted will have to use Master on Web.com
3. New Tour (Beginner Clubs Tour) created and restricted to Beginner clubs only - mirrors CC-Am schedule/played out of CC-Am society.
4. Anyone playing Beginner clubs during week 4 will be DQ'ed with no marks (like fair play dqs). Any player can choose to join the Beginner Clubs Tour at anytime by choosing this option in their TGCT profile.
5. In Promotion Event #1 - anyone using Beginner Clubs will be removed/ignored
6. You can't play both the Beginner Clubs Tour and our Pro Tours/Challenge Circuit at the same time - you'll need to pick one or the other. You can play BCT and TST at the same time.
Timeline
Week 3
1. Notice/email/Announcements made
Week 4
1. Anyone playing Beginner clubs during week 4 will be DQ'ed with no marks (like fair play dqs). Any player can choose to join the Beginner Clubs Tour at anytime by choosing this option in their TGCT profile.

Week 5
1. Beginner Clubs Tour starts - 1 tour, no movement marks, no cut
2. CC-A:Z (master/pro clubs only) or DQ
3. Fast Track CC-Am promotions based on a standard deviation formula compared to avg-score of the field during promotion finalization.
4. Q-school registration will include an option to go straight to Beginner tour or register for Q-School with Master/Pro clubsets only.
5. Anyone playing the weekly Q-School on beginner clubs will be given a Beginner tour card and be sent an email.
6. Players promoted to the Web.com tour will not be demoted until they have fully completed a minimum of 3 events
Beginner Clubs Tour (BCT)
- Play events via TGCTours (CC-Am) society
- Beginner clubs only - Pro/Master club users will be removed from leaderboard
- no WGR tracking
- if you come to the BCT from regular tours (already have TGCT tour card) there will be a 4-week waiting period before you are eligible to register for another shot at Q-School
- if you start TGCT on the BCT you can register for Q-School at any time - no wait period
All:
I'll be interrupting the show to break a very important announcement concerning TGCT. You don't want to miss it.
Tune in at 9pm EST
The interview with Jeff (SmilingGoats) will be postponed till next week.
Thanks!
Tim
