I turned down the graphics and saw an immediate improvement in my swing. Before, I felt I had to push forward as quickly as possible to get Perfect. Occasionally the swing would register as Very Fast and hook horribly. I never had a Fast backswing no matter how hard I tried. With the graphics turned down, i can take a slower, more fluid swing and get Perfect-Perfect. If I consciously speed up the back or down swing, the game registers it as Fast.
This certainly suggests that some of the swing difficulties we all have had are not necessarily due to the user. I am psyched now and may accelerate my switch to Masters clubs.

136, 154 and 146 of the people that attempted a shot in the three master tours.... seems PGA is bleeding players.

Tried a speedgolf experiment with beginner clubs on Little Brook manor, finished the round in 11m02s with a score of -19 I could score lower than this with master clubs (I think my PB on Little Brook in TGC2 was -24) since I can reach more greens, but I'm not sure I could break the 11min mark, because I can't just grip n rip with master clubs the way I did in this vid with beginners. There's just 0% concern about messing up any shot with beginners, so you can just start the backswing pretty much as soon as the animation transition completes for the next shot without even worrying about being straight:

What is the XB1 Tempo issue? -Today I just played rd. 3 with Pro Clubs and ended with a 73 which is incredible for me who up until today was Beginner. Still feels that I have to swing much faster on downswing than I am comfortable with and much scarier off the tee to hit the fairway. (result was 2 double bogies because I landed in the brush which never happens with Beginner Clubs) -Read that reducing graphics allows you to slow down the swing on the XB1, is this true?

Pro club tempo on xb1 is actually easier than the other platforms, it's only with master clubs that xb1 tempo takes a massive nosedive and is way harder than PC and especially PS4. It's a very weird combination to be honest and I don't envy anybody trying to fix that bug (assuming HB is ever going to).

Don’t hold your breath it’s not affecting anyone at HB so why should they even care we’ve already bought the game

I was playing a round with my son last night. He is young and has little control over the stick. He had a swing where the line went all over the place in the meter, and a very slow downswing. The ball left the club heading left and then sliced away to the right, as you would expect for a slow downswing. Just before heading into the trees, the ball veered back to the left and landed in the rough. Explain how a ball can spin like that!

I'm an XB1 player and TGC 2019 is the first one of the series that i've played. I love the game, and I play with Masters clubs on the CC-G tour. I'm going to continue to work my way up throughout the CC tours and hopefully hit Web within 6 months of so (that's my goal anyway). I haven't played this game on any other platform be it PS4 or computer, but i feel the tempo mechanic is fairly reasonable on the XB1. When I get very fast/fast/slow tempo reads, i can actually feel that i've done so. I don't feel it being an arbitrary reading. Then again, I haven't played on another platform so maybe it'd be far easier for me to consistently get perfect/perfect on a PS4?
Food for thought.

You think those are bad... I regularly manage to produce a backwards '3' shape on my swing - I've no idea how such a thing is possible yet it's become a habit
