The point is not creating more tours or flights for the beginner club set ... as that can be adjusted accordingly to the amount of players within the tour. But my suggestion was to make a TOUR to a specific club set. And then the Xbox and PC mouse users will each want their own seperate tours because they're not on a level playing field with everyone else. I think at this point a level playing field while maintaining a competitive tiered Tour structure is just a pipe dream as there's too many points of division right now. And you'd really lose that sense of community we have, all striving for one ultimate goal if everyone starts getting fractured off into their own little seperate sub-sections. PC mouse users can use a controller, it’s not the same as the disadvantage XBox Masters users have. For what it’s worth, I don’t want my XBox made as easy as you guys have it, I want you to have what we have on XBox. It would remove the ridiculous scoring.

Oh bah, you can get the jumper that allows you to use keyboards and Mice on the Xbox. It would do you all MUCH good considering where you are all at. In the end, it can't be any worse, can it?

No, the point to this whole thread is, from what I read, is the uncompetitiveness of playing in tournaments with a certain set of club sets.

Says the guy who always mentions something about how HB messed up the mouse swing mechanic that it's unplayable. I'm on XB and although the master tempo is hard, that's what makes it challenging (for me).. I've simply adjusted my math and aim accordingly. Am I shooting -18 every round? No, at least not yet...I think my best round to date on masters is a mere -11, which I've only done once..just here to have some fun whilst playing some meaningful golf NOT against AI bots.. Splitting the tours by console would not add sufficient value. We already can compete within a console by the society leaderboards. The societies capture lots of data and allow you to rank yourself against your peers in many categories. Would it really be worth the effort to essentially duplicate what HBS already provides?

I havent really complained about how it’s playing on XBox. It’s a little frustrating knowing others have it easier, but it’s way more fun shooting around par than it is shooting -10 and better every round. I’m accepting the fast and slow swings as the normal part of a golfers game. Its the occasional very fast or very slow that don’t feel legit are my only complaints. I’m watching the Australian Open, would love to see what our PGA guys would shoot on an RCR of The Lakes in light breezes and soft conditions, I’m guessing better than -18.

The point of the uncompetitiveness, and the reason why beginner clubs are banned, is because beginner clubs made it way too easy to swing straight and get P/P tempo to the point getting anything else was practically impossible. Ill say it again, in bold and caps, BEGINNER CLUBS TOOK AWAY 2 MAJOR(!!!) VARIABLES TO SCORING IN TEMPO AND SWING PATH. It became obvious that the loss of distance was not enough to cancel out the advantage the beginner clubs had at the CC level and were banned accordingly. For CC tours, pro and master clubs can compete because both have equal advantages and disadvantages and once is not clearly better than the other. Pro tours are master only because they are for the best players in the game, so they get the toughest club set and the toughest courses. And sooner or later, HB will fix the tempo issues with PC and Xbox so separate tours arent necessary, and regardless that never was and never will be the structure.

Yes Australian Open On now... suggest they add an AustraliAsianOceania Pro Tour with Cuts/Masters club as a 4th league just behind Web.com to have 4 real full Pro tours! Then we could be playing tournaments aligned to real ones... we have a lot of CC leagues now.

The channel (cone) is wider and more forgiving. By definition this makes the swing path easier. Your personal feedback will look the same regardless of club set, yes. However the result of your shot in reality will be straightest with beginner clubs, less so with pros, and the most varied with master with the same swing.

You're right that swing path itself isn't easier as the game records the true swing path no matter what, but it's effectively the same thing since the obese beginner cones (pics below are both beginner club screenshots) mean it's pretty difficult to go offline lol:

Not sure how you can make that claim. The swing path cone on the beginner clubs is like a mile wide! Unless you're flicking the stick left to right, you'll always get within the cone for a P/P every time!

How about that feedback That would be a bullet-straight ball flight with the beginner club cone

My god there's not too much difference there IMO between the swing plane zone width.
