I didn't catch the end of the stream and don't think it is addressed above in the OP... Can users opt in and out of the beginner tour? Basically, can a Pro/Master player on the normal tiered tours decide to take a week off, play the beginner tour once, and then the following week jump back to their own tiered tour? If so, can all members do this or just CC Tour card holders? Answer is no. If a player decides to go to the beginner's tour, they will have to remain there for a (specified time which will be announced at a later date) and at that point if they want to go back to using pro/master clubs they will have to retake Q-School and get re-placed. I think any player can do this but they lose their spot on the tour and that spot may not be available when they want to come back even if they qualify. Seems like that could be used as a slow workaround to play QSchool more than once if you don't like the first result.

I'm sure the time you will spend there will be 3-6 weeks which is plenty of time to get promoted/demoted the regular way.

That's awesome, my card is so low and in flux compared to last year because I started qualifying on master and could not compete. Now I notice in my tour the top 5-9 guys in current tourney are beginner clubs and they are the guys with no promotion arrows or demotion from last week. This will make a great difference. The game has to be challenging. Thanks.

Serious post. CC-A event last week, if you took out the beginner clubs, you would have had 7 players taken out and only ONE master clubs person cracking the top 20. This is what you would expect when Pro Club players who finished with good Q-School scores are artificially placed at a tour well below their actual skill level (we can debate the fairness of this all elsewhere). Basically, the few Master Club users in CC-A represent the 75th percentile of players, while the Pro Club players represent the 95th percentile. Players using Pro Clubs will earn promotion marks now, meaning they will eventually promote their way out of CC-A. Eventually, things will balance out in terms of scores, although it may take a better effort to achieve similar scores with Master Clubs as opposed to Pro Clubs. Things are always subject to change, and I am certain the staff is monitoring things closely.

Beginners get their own tour The Huggies Tour Great changes by the staff. Much applauded. The beginners clubs can now be used as a short term training ground if needed and not abused for promotions or seen winning higher level tourneys. No brainer. I know the club decision for CC did not come easy but i am somewhat disappointed that A didnt mandate Masters clubs, especially with the promotion changes for Pro clubs. Unless someone explains this decision (not saying it has to be explained if its need to know only) then i dont see alot of benefit sticking to Masters in A if you have to wade through all the pro difficulty users. Its a difficulty level...so why promote them over a Masters user? And it was somewhat obvious in the chat tonight some folks in A wouldnt want the promotion anyway which i would assume has to do with being forced to use the harder clubs.

Players who are too good for CC-A either because they're more skilled, or because they use Pro Clubs will no longer be allowed to stick around for easy wins. That should clear up some of the logjam. Another stipulation is that you only earn demotion marks in Web.com if you finish the event (2 rounds, miss cut) using Master Clubs.
No matter where this restriction is placed, you run into the same problem. Make CC-A Master-Club-Mandatory and you could say the same about CC-B.
As Tim explained, it was less confusing and less work to make the Club distinction at Web.com.

I found this whole thing hilarious. I also do not think it would achieve much, except more work for the admins.

Great changes, expect you pushing CC-A players to play Pro clubs because it will be very hard for master users to get promoted. Top 20 masters users(if they are in top 70 overall like now) should still get marks.Or if the system need to give only 20 movement marks max, give them to top 10 pro and top 10 master. If master players are good enough, they'll be in the top 20. We all have to remember the new promo system was designed to be slower.

The beginners club tour would be used by bunch of people who actually know how to play the game to beat the crap out of the rookies week after week. I guarantee you that there would be people who have no intention to try harder level and would be absolutely content to see their name on the top of the board week after week. The same will happen in CC-A where you'd see people missing cuts after being on contention week after week.

Be interesting to see how many Beginners players there will be... multiple leagues? BC-A, BC-B etc.
We should support these beginner players as I must admit it takes s few weeks to adjust to the game/tempo. And if people like to stick at beginners well that great - that’s what gaming is for - enjoying.
I like the changes coming. For me I’ll still be sticking at masters in CC-Z.
