As I suspected when posting on this thread before, the derogatory remarks and general sniping at Beginner Club users has started.
I suppose some of those with an inferiority complex find it makes them feel big when they belittle others.
I am sure that when the new system was decided upon, that the intention wasn't to cause a divide in the ranks, but that is what it is doing.

From the data given to us by Jeff (the goat), there was no appreciable difference in the difference between Pro club P/P rate. In fact, XB1 might have been the highest P/P on Pro.
It is the Master set that has the large disparity. I do not believe that the well scoring beginner users cannot move up to the middle set and still not compete. But that is my opinion.
A choice is to be made by each beginner club user. That is on them. Realize that there are beginner club users that in all likelihood could compete well at a high level if they moved to another set. They do not do so and make a mockery of the system that is/was in place. So put the onus on them. There should be a place for beginner clubs users on the main tours here (IMO CC-Am) that do struggle. But at the end of the day everyone has to respect the decision made here as it is thought of for the health of all members and all tours and the model they (Admin) envision.

Maybe for some on XB1 but not for me with Pro. In a round that behaves I'll get a couple of unexplained tempo issues that costs me a couple of shots. My problem is that I'll regularly get a round where half or more of my shots are impacted by random tempo and it costs me 8-10 shots. It happens every 3rd or 4th round. That makes it very frustrating to compete seriously. I take part in the tours because I want the competition but I also want to have fun. So I am seriously considering the Beginners Club Tour even though I shouldn't be.

That was my proposal as well. If beginner and pro were equal the original system would be fine. The problem is they're miles apart, and even moreso beginner to master, so anyone getting promoted from A with beginner clubs would get SMACKED with master clubs in Web. The tours not only needs to make the progression fluid with player skill, but also with the club set learning curve. And we needed to change the promotion process because people sandbagging in A didnt do anyone any good.

I’d bring back exemptions for say the top 5 to add an extra dimension. It’ll put people where they really should be but it’ll still be a trickle.

The admins should be all over this and simply start selectively banning people for being so inconsiderate... oh wait we already have rules on that.

I can see the logic in binning beginner clubs from the main tour. I have been playing them and am still not very good. Just wish the decision was made earlier as at least I could have used my limited practice time before the tour went live instead of thinking I could just rock up with beginner clubs.
I don't get much time at all to play The Golf Club so it will be a case of learning on the job on tour rounds and plummeting down the tours. Just hope I improve enough to enjoy the game. A few rounds like this weeks tour (+7) and sadly I will move onto something else as its not fun hacking around and cant be bothered with a one league beginner tour.
Keep up the good work though. Way back in 2000 I ran an online Tiger Woods 2000 PC tour and know the effort that goes into running a tour and the stuff you have to deal with.

I played q school mostly with beginners. My plan is to play the beginner tour for 4 weeks then re do q school. That way I can be placed in correct tour. No way I can compete at CC-B on pro/masters.

So i'm looking at the leader board for all the flights and I see nothing for the new beginners flight, Are they not included in anything at all, or has it not been setup yet. Just curious
