Brother, I am a mid 500 WGR. And this game with Master Clubs is unplayable. The top guys cheat. Nobody will ever convince me otherwise. Nah, you just don’t beleive that anyone could be better than you. I’ve been inside the top 20 in the world, and I didn’t need to cheat to get there. |

I am thoroughly convinced that most of the best in this game have ice in their blood and either have great control of their nerves or know just the right amount of weed/alchohol to consume to play relaxed. I can shoot up there with the best of them.....wait for it.... in practice. But in the real thing, the nerves get me almost every single time. Tournaments go: Rd1 nervous crooked fast swings and a crap score with the round ending in me being pissed off thoroughly Rd2 pressure to get back on track but getting completely unchained at every even mild bad break...ends in mediocre score and stil pissed Rd3. Resigned to either missing the cut or finishing low. The adrenaline has been used up with the nerves and anger. Calm now. usually have a nice round as good as my practice rounds Rd4. Trying to salvage a respectable 4 round total. But tired and not hitting my spots or putts. Ends in another mediocre round. |

There are *loads* of twitch streams where you can watch people play well with masters clubs. "If I can't do it homie, it' can't be done." <-- said 50cent.... and all other egotistical prats with little understanding of the depth of skill that can exist in people outside of their own narrow minded bubble. can someone drop a link of a -10 round at st bedes that would be great. |

You'll have to give me a little bit (30 to 60 minutes maybe?) to copy paste from the Capture Gallery on PS4 and then uploading to youtube (I didn't stream my QSchool, but saved most of it to my PS4 HDD) and I'll get you what you are asking for. |

In chronological order from top to bottom.
The first video you can skip the first 35 seconds or so as it is loading, etc. The 2nd video is a highlight, so is very short. Wasn't expecting to clip so soon after I clipped the first part of the round.

Takeaway from those vids? If your swing line isn’t as straight as Bob manages to pull off...you’ll NEVER compete at the top. I’m amazed Bob and unfortunately it’s just not in the cards for me. Sad too because making the game so contingent on joystick swing really limits the number of folks who can compete. Oh well that’s what Euro and Web are for. I still pine for TGC 1.

I haven’t watched yet but you are spot on JT.
I am pulling mine back and forward straight but there is no way I could get it perfectly straight like some I have seen.
I refuse to buy a different controller to compete like that so that’s up to me I suppose.

You are not the only one buddy. I would love to have that game back but we have no choice but to use this one  It was fun being in contention a lot but now its no fun playing average. Oh yeah...I’ll start tomorrow. TGC2 was unplayable for me so I stopped playing. I’m better on this version but just can’t find the kind of straight needed to run with the fellas.

Tgc1 was life-altering. 2 and 19 are just not the same for me. I agree with the swing line statement. I was a top tour player and now on 19 my swing is unplayable with masters clubs |

I just pick up this game last weekend. I have an older controller original with the ps4 and a new one. both sticks are different, barely ever get a straight line. Not sure how these guys are getting dead straight shots.

I started 19 using the pro clubs and an old controller and while I had more success than TGC2 I still struggled with consistency and knew I couldn't even mess with master clubs. Then the other day I bought a fresh and crisp ps4 controller and instantly I was hitting near perfect shots through the bag. After a dozen or so rounds I switched to the masters and maintained solid contact and great distance with little downside.
I have noticed that when the charge on the controller goes below 50% the consistency drops noticeably and becomes almost unplayable under 15-20%.
Loving this game again

I don't know if it's been like this since the last patch or just in the last few weeks but the dispersion I'm getting now when lofting up is hard to figure. (PS4) I'm sure it was much more predictable before but now even with a good swing line I don't know what to expect. The dispersion has gone crazy. The ball just squirts off left or right even with a very good swing. I think I'm taking everything into account (wind, lie, elevation,club) but it's just a lottery as to which direction the ball will take off. Can't be the controller as this only happens when using loft.
