I have found 3 outside factors that directly affect my tempo: 1: Wired headset plugged into controller 2: Wireless controller has different tempo when plugged in 3: Having any other Bluetooth devices turned on when controller is wireless Really not sure on the hows and whys but i have played enough rounds now to easily pick up on the differences everytime. To the point that I have a different swing timing when I have my headset plugged in and I always turn the bluetooth off on my phone before a round  ah, that makes perfect sense! the wireless things competing, and things competing with the controller.
I used mine wired all the time, and a wireless headset. But I consistently try to use it all the same configuration, when I play TGC.
I swear on Thursday evenings, something is different though. My thought was, either I'm just stressed and imagining it, or people on my street are buying wafflemakers on ebay and clogging up my bandwidth to the server. LOL Either that, or the Aliens hover above on a Thursday night............ |

Can you set a steady framerate in TGC 2019 on PC? I have a decent gaming desktop (albeit, a few years old), but sometimes drop to 30-some FPS during a swing, occasionally getting a very-slow thruswing which I don't think I earned. You can download Process Lasso to hold at a constant FPS. I've never noticed much of a difference but I'm on a i7-7700 with a Geforce 1060 card. _______ The amount of information that your system has to process on any given hole has a huge effect on swing tempo. Ever played in a tournament and been going along just fine only to suddenly have that one hole where your drive just goes sailing off. Then during round 2 everything is going just fine, you get to that same hole and there goes your drive again, off on it's on. I was playing online in a heads up match. Opponent is hitting drives just fine and suddenly he slices one deep into the woods. I step up and take my swing, same thing, sliced into the woods and lands literally 2 feet from his. |

I can't even play this anymore. The random downswing speed changes ruined the game. Same. I can be playing fairly good with p/p or p/f right on the edge, then out of nowhere from a nice feeling downswing comes very fast or very slow making my ball move like its a hurricane wind into the water for just half a centimeter off the blue. Game is trash and i wish i never bought it. Thats how im feeling right now. |

Yesterday in the Special events I recorded +23 in round 1, plating with Pro clubs set
I wish I had never wasted my money on this game, all the enjoyment has now gone for me

I had always used master clubs. Guess I am staying with pro now. |

Do what I did. Swallow your pride and change to Beginner clubs. They're like a breath of fresh air. You'll soon start enjoying the game again and after all, isn't that what it's all about? |

When TGC2019 was released, I was determined to start with the Master Clubs and stick with them. But having hit approximately 60 flop shots and never receiving anything other than a fast or slow downswing, I decided to downgrade to the Pro Clubs. First flop shot hit, perfect/perfect. Now I'm starting to enjoy this game again. |

I was a CC-B player with the lowest (beginners?) clubs in TGC2. I couldn't hit anything straight with any of the other club sets but decided to try Masters on 2019 and i am playing great. Not shooting great all the time but i've posted as low as -11 on the non Bedes course (can't remember the name) practicing for Q school to +4. On this weeks practice tournament im +3, +3 so far but have had several great runs of birdies only to be slowed by some HUGE mistakes. Anyway...i'm loving it a lot more than TGC2

I will stop short of calling anyone a cheat but can someone please put a -10 round on st bedes onto YouTube so I can watch you play.

There are *loads* of twitch streams where you can watch people play well with masters clubs.
