I'm going to assume anyone with 3+ strikes isn't going to play next week's course because they could literally drop out of being able to play the Playoffs. Not sure it would be worth the chance.

Respectfully disagree. I don’t think we see enough RCR’s. Nothing boring about them if the game is properly challenging, IMO. That's a pretty big "if" in your last sentence. I don't think it holds true for this game (maybe it does on TST?), and I don't expect '19 to be much harder if they try to cater to a wider audience. I’ll gladly play a well made RCR over fantasy course any day. However, a good fictional is good from time to time. Dont forget, we are trying to emulate professional Golf here at TGC TOURS. Therefore, we should play RCR’s when they are available and pass the Ranger testing.

I would much rather play the course the PGA is on each week than a fictional course even if it's on the easier side

Well I have reached WGR 17. This ties the highest I ever had in TGC1 and TGC2. Feels good. I'm hoping to play well this week and break that barrier for my 50th bday coming up!

Congratulations Ron on both achievements! Thanks. To be honest I'm not sure which I'm more proud of, getting back to 17th or almost making it to my 50th! I had some very crazy college days and some not so bright stunts that somehow worked out in my favour and only resulting in one broken bone.

Can someone explain to me why Ian and Gemini have less than 40 tournaments listed for their WGR ranking? How is this even possible? Is it because they were WD from tournaments? I have only 35 tournaments played this season with 2 WD and I'm at 40. I am confuzzled.

Question???
I'm currently #128 on the FedEx point list for PGA. I know the top 125 are in for the first round of the playoffs. I made the cut this week, and hope to finish top 50 or better this week. Not knowing how the points work, should I assume I'll make the top 25, or not? Also, if I do squeak into to the playoffs, would it be my last event as the qualifications drop to top 100 PGA FedEx players for round 2?
Thank you to anyone who has answers.

If you make the playoffs you can still earn FedEx points and move up the rankings - they actually jump from 500 per event to 2000 so it's easier to make a jump up during the playoffs.
You can always assume you'll be in - the fields won't be officially set until Sunday evening though.

There are a bunch of players above you who haven't played in months. I would imagine they would be removed? Those last 4 events have 4-6 times as many points than regular events too so that would rocket you up if you got a top 10 next week.

Thanks, yea, I saw one person in front of me is listed twice. and I'm now #126 for some reason. However, I had to LMAO at getting a top 10 vs the world tour guys I'd be very pleased to make the cut next week, but will give it my all.
Again, thanks for the info!
