I think you should have a go in the contest, it looks as if you've got a fair idea of the designer. I seen your Greens of Woodhall Hills has had a lot of plays, so it seems that players like what you've designed. It'll be an opportunity to get feedback and hone your skills more. Have you submitted your courses to TGC Tours as I couldn't find them in the course listings? I tried but it got rejected. 2nd one only has 2 pins so can't use that. I've sketched the first 7 holes of a new course on my iPad so just waiting for new game. Will be designing on pc this time. That’s good that you've started planning your next course, I don't know if it would be worthwhile starting a course on TGC 2 then porting it over to 2019. Even if it's just the bones of the course like layout, tees and greens, then when the new game is out you have something to build on. You can always reach out to designers about the points your course was rejected for and work on that. |

Can't remember exactly but something to do with massaging some parts and bunkers needed work. I was gonna update it but with new game just around the corner didn't see much point. Might as well wait. Just published the bay of st Annes but Probably not best time to publish new course. Can courses be ported over fron PS4 to pc? |

Just check back in the Courses Not Accepted thread and work on that in your next course. I'm not entirely sure if you can port courses over from different platforms. It might be best to wait for the new game, I don't know if anyone else here would know.

Think ill give it a shot aswell as i did have plans to do one more course at least
The only thing that is a bit intimidating is the deadline part, both my previous courses have taken longer than that, but they have also had multiple weeks long breaks during the designing so i think it should be doable.
And it will force me to buy 2019 early and get going

There are a couple of areas where it will help: - improved splines should help fairways and cart paths - auto-fill splines should help fairways - auto-outline fairway splines with light rough should speed up or even eliminate laying rough - multi-sized objects in multi-plant |

Definitely make your own WIP thread so the community can follow your progress and give you more personal feedback. Looks good so far! Very smooth looking splines! Good luck and have fun with it! Also I'm digging your bunker shapes. They look nice! Looking forward to seeing this progress. |

Still can't believe you won't let me enter, Patrick. 1st you won't use my courses on tour, then you won't even allow me the opportunity to get better in the designer with the valuable feedback I'm sure to get in a contest format. I think I shall go to the Clubhouse subforum and start a thread to cry about the TGCT clique.
