i know you have to practice in high winds but if you are making bogey after bogey its no fun at all.
Im never going to be the best in the wind anyway because of the force i have to put on my Xbox joystick to get 100%.

Just possibly shot my best ever round on TGC. I know it's only a 69 (-2) but it was on Copper Creek National and that course is my nemesis. I have struggled on it plenty of times but in this round i was -3 for 15 holes until a stupid mistake on 16 cost me a shot. Also had a crucial up and down on 17 and came close at 18 for birdie. I like to mention the fact that i had 3 close putts at birdie but they missed with my luck.

well it was only 4-6mph but that was the same as my previous round which i shot a 74 in and this round could have been much better.
it has frustrated me in the past. not so much the wind, just my luck with finding a bunker or the water.

not bad at all buddy.
im finally happy i can shoot under par on Copper Creek which i think was my weak link. son gual maybe the other one but that can be managed so i reckon i have a small chance at getting on the tour if i pull out decent rounds at Q-School. My last three rounds:
Mount Yeti Royal Golf Links 70 (-2)
The Club On Whispering River 66 (-6)
Copper Creek National (Major) 69 (-2)

I play mostly on the PC with an Xbox Controller, but I have noticed that if I play on a XB1, I have to hold at the top of the backswing for a pause longer to be assured of getting 100%. Is this what you're finding?

Figured I would give Copper Creek a shot. An abysmal 41 on the front then rebounded with a 30 on the back for an even round 71. This course will keep you thinking!!!

well done mate!
just shot 74 (+2) on Son Gual Desert with 2 bogeys and the rest pars.
had a chance of maybe getting a 2 or 3 under round but oh well.
the winds were 3-4mph and i thought i could of done better but the greens are too quick for me.

agree with you there mate. if i have a smooth swing its always at about 89-94% power and very frustrating and swinging hard makes me hit it left more often.
away from the subject:
missed a 5 footer for a birdie on last hole of Ghost Lake GC for a 59, so frustrated!

Is this what you're finding? Yes, for me that is true. On the xb there is a tempo pause that seems to work best. I seem to struggle with Son gual - only one I cant break par. I feel like I can be a top 100 player or squeaking into the Web tour depending on the day. Oh the pressure.
