Funny as I was thinking just the opposite. With the patch the ball now comes off the clubface in a more realistic line, no more darting off downslope. So playing breaks are going to be much easier as the ball starts on the target line and breaks true to the slope.

I could be wrong but as a PC player I missed more puts than usual because of habitually compensating for break off the putter head
That's no longer needed, maybe others will adjust quicker.
If you are a PC player I certainly recommend as many round as you can get in before going ahead with tournament

Well I predict the on going tournament and next weeks tournament will be won by Ps4 or Xb, the putting has definitely changed with PC patch. Pc'ers will have to readjust going to take abit a time When I played a round last night it felt like short putts were rocketing off the club face. I sent a few right over the hole and my putting was the worst part in a poor round (E) that I average 9-10 under on.

Hey guys, if you're curious, ( I was) here is an official list of the what the new patch contained.
Patch Summary ◾Maximum course size indicator in the Greg Norman Course Designer. ◾Fixed UFO shadow. ◾Minor putting adjustments. ◾Various handicap interface fixes and adjustments. ◾Various Tournament interface fixes and adjustments. ◾Stability improvements (primarily console). ◾Increased max Tour duration to 180 days. ◾Updated the offline course list. ◾Tweaked the wood texture on selected Greg Norman Course Designer assets. ◾Fixed GNCD course testing crash when ball holed out. ◾Fixed local Match Play bug where match ended early. ◾Commentary tweaks and fixes in Tournaments. ◾Fixed removing Tee Furniture console bug which left the bag behind. ◾Various other small bug fixes and general tweaks.
Have a great weekend.
Cheers The Golf Club Dev Team
The pc patch is active now, and the console patches have been submitted to Sony and Microsoft, so HB thinks early next week for the consoles to be patched.

well, after 3 rounds of "wtf" putting i finally got it going in my 4th round of some random tourny and tied the course record held by jimgem, such minor changes hit you like a hammer and make you start second guessing yourself.
left 2 putts short over 2 rounds, then in 3rd round, whaled the ball 2 different times to fly past the pin, the left to right breaking is wonky, it sometimes does what it used to, and it sometimes does not, that there is really hard to overcome.

Just played two rounds on easy courses to see what all the 'putting fuss' is all about after the recent update, and I agree with all the pc players' comments. I scored -2 under on a course I usually get -16 thanks to the inconsistency of putting speeds. On medium range putts the ball either takes off like a tracer bullet, or dribbles 3ft like it's doing you a favor.
It wouldn't surprise me if you could drive off the tee with you putter now.. Depending on whether it feels like it.
I'm hoping that the fault is lying with my style of playing and that Pc'ers will be able to find consistency with practice.

Lol how do you think i feel i just threw away my chance at winning the TOC and now they say they will be making tweeks to it on monday, not saying i would have won but had a good chance, now i feel i was robbed.

I hope it's more sensitive and that we just have to get used to it - it was pretty easy to lag a putt to the hole 99% of the time before with proper use of the aim marker. Maybe they just tightened up the aid range and are now forcing us to be more accurate?
I played 2 rounds last night and only noticed it on a couple of putts, most of which I felt i was on an extreme edge of the "safety range" of the marker.
