I will make this short and sweet. Too many bugs with this game and my contempt has gone to pure hatred of it.
I'm not going to list all the bugs, not the least of which are the FPS issues, the "don't putt too quickly after the scene transition or your putter will go right through the ball" and the "let's just give you an extra stroke just for the heck of it" nonsense.
So I'm done. I mean, really done. When I go from being in a really good mood after a morning in church to being in a really bad mood after just 22 holes (I quit after hole 4 of round 2) it's time to move on.
For the few friends I had here, I'm going to miss you. I'm especially going to miss Scott. You've been great to me. But this has gone beyond not fun. To me, this game is broken. Someday it will be proven and the fixes will come. Today's server load trying to just hit the ball straight was a prime example of something that needs major repair.
Anyway, take care. TGC 1, in retrospect, was fun.
TGC 2, not so much.
PS - No, I won't be returning to this thread so feel free to have at me. For the players that have the patience to see this game get fixed, I hope for your sake that it does.
