Actually, my responses have been quite mature and quite level headed. You on the other hand..... You know, in spite of us being this close to being blown off the map by North Korea, I was in a pretty decent mood this morning until I came here. Fortunately, now that I've made him aware of it, Scott will eventually get here and lock this thing up. I can then banish myself to the Ranger forum once the season restarts and FINALLY be rid of the lot of you. I have never hated a bunch of people as much as I hate you people. And why I even WANT to continue rangering courses is beyond me. But Scott's been great to me and I feel I owe the community something, especially since it seems it's hard to find rangers who can regularly do this job, whether it be because of difficulty with time commitment or whatever. But whatever you want to say about me, I have rangered every single course that's been put out there since I've been on the job. There is no other ranger here who can say that. So, you want to have me banned? Go message Scott or Tim or whoever. As far as I'm concerned, it's a win either way. If I'm banned, I'm rid of the lot of you. If I'm not, I can go back to doing my job. Either way, at this point, I really don't care. |

But the drama is going to be left behind in 2016. So folks here are going to have to get their excitement someplace else, which is why I posted this in OT to begin with. I'm trying to be as low key as I can and still let people know that this year is going to be a lot different around here.  |

Needless to say, it has been a long a bumpy ride for me at TGCT. I started out so bad at this game that I actually dropped from CC-D to CC-E after Q School. I complained about everything you could possibly think of complaining about. Finally, over a year after getting this game, I earned my Web card. I then complained about how hard it would be to keep it because of how late I got it. Then I complained that I didn't want to go to the PGA because I hated the courses and felt I couldn't compete. I think I pissed off just about everybody on the tour. Well, today I look back at all this with a smile. I've finally come to peace with this entire experience. Where I play and how well I play no longer matters. I will most likely be in Web for season 3 but that will probably be my last season being that high up. The game itself has finally become just that, a game. I no longer put in insane hours practicing. In fact, almost all my time is simply put into rangering new courses. I no longer practice a course before the event, which showed in this week's offering where I was almost at the bottom of the leader board after round 1. It just isn't that important anymore. I still love the game itself. I always will. I've loved virtual golf as my favorite video game in general for over 30 years. That won't change. But the competition isn't a high priority anymore. I'll still play. And if I do well, terrific. But my joy now comes from serving the community and talking with the few friends (and I do mean few LOL) that I have here. It feels good to be where I am now. As a result, I am totally relaxed playing the events. My poor play is solely from a lack of familiarity with the courses. Many shots I don't have a clue where to put them simply because I don't have that experience to go by. There is no question that, at least for me, practicing a course a lot helped a ton. It will be interesting to see where I end up when TGC 2 comes out. CC-Z is not entirely out of the realm of possibility as I am usually pretty bad when it comes to adapting to new mechanics. Heck, just going from playing Sierra's PGA Championship to this was like starting all over again. And that's fine. Maybe starting in CC-Z is what I need to get my excitement up for the competition again, to see if I can climb out of the basement with a new swing mechanic. I'm actually looking forward to it. But whatever happens, I'm finally in a good place. Win or lose doesn't matter. Just as long as I'm having fun playing and contributing to the community. With the new season coming up there are going to be a lot of courses to test and I can't wait. I find that way more fun than the actual events. Anyway, that's it for me. Sorry for all the whining in the past. It was just some growing pains that I had to go through until I got to where I am now. Just sorry I couldn't have gotten here a little sooner. Okay, this is EXACTLY what I'm talking about.
My last post here was August 8. That was 2 days ago. I told everyone the agreement I made with Scott, I made my peace and wished everybody luck when the season resumed. There were two nice responses wishing me well and that was it.
This was August 8.
Today, Wigmore decides he's going to start up with his "Bet on how soon it is until I return to the tour" crap.
Okay, this thread was dead, finished, done. HE is the one who just couldn't resist poking the hornets nest yet again when there was nothing left to poke.
So you guys REALLY need to look in the mirror before you start throwing stones at me.
I was done. YOU kept it going.
Again, hypocrites.

Okay, we're going to have this out once and for all. I'm going to ask you a question and all I want is an honest answer. I've at least been honest about hating the lot of you. So the least you can do is be honest with me.
Here goes.
On August 8th (that was TWO DAYS AGO) I gave my status with this game. I explained that I had modified my controller and am DQ'ing myself from tour play in agreement with Scott that I continue to ranger courses. I wished everybody luck with the season when it resumes and I was done.
Two people replied wishing me well and that was the end of it.
THAT WAS TWO DAYS AGO.
I had not returned to this thread. I had no intentions of returning to this thread. There couldn't possibly be anything left for anybody to say.
BUT TWO DAYS LATER YOU GUYS STARTED UP YET AGAIN.
I certainly didn't make the first post today. Easy enough to check. The forum records don't lie Wigmore started this up, YET AGAIN.
So here's my question.
Why?
What was the purpose of poking the hornets nest YET AGAIN? Did you want to see if you could get a rise out of me again? Were you hoping that I'd get so angry that I'd say something that WOULD get me banned from the forum? What was the purpose? Because it's been TWO DAYS.
Just give me an honest answer. That's all I want.

If there is a hornets mest, where are the hornets?
And North Korea has nothing that could make a dent in the US. They could kill a million or so South Koreans, however.
