To me, this game is broken. No, its not. Needs some fixes sure, but not close to broken. The harsh truth is Wags you just arent very good at it, cant accept that, so look for excuses. Goodbye for the 59th time, and welcome, for the next time you reappear, no doubt very shortly. |

But hey, don't worry, once the season resumes and guys go back to talking about cut lines and scores and whatever and all this nonsense stops, you won't even know I'm still here. As I won't be playing on the tour anymore, I'll have no reason to get involved in the individual tourney discussions. In fact, I'm going to ask Scott if it's possible to even remove me from the player database. That way, I won't even be associated with a tour any longer. Until then, if you guys would stop poking the hornets nest in this thread, I wouldn't even be posting in here anymore as there's nothing really left to say. But no, you guys just gotta keep at it because you just LOVE instigating things. So for the last time, I am DONE WITH THE TOUR. I will be rangering courses and THAT'S IT! If you don't understand English, tell me what language you DO understand, I'll go learn it, and then I'll post the above in THAT language so that you DO understand it. God this season can't resume soon enough. Doyley, will you PLEASE lock this thread up already? |

We'll see  No, there's no seeing. I have two choices. 1) I play with a legal controller, play in the tour, spray the ball all over the place, hate every minute of it. 2) I play with an illegal controller, DQ myself from tour play but somewhat enjoy playing the game and continue rangering courses. Only a complete moron and masochist would choose number 1. Scott and I have already discussed this. I had turned in my resignation and was walking away from this place. That's how much I had come to despise this game. Scott was the one who suggested that I mod my controller, DQ myself from the tour but continue to ranger courses, if I was okay with that. I am. At least I get to be part of this community. So no, there is nothing to see. If nothing else, I am way to frickin' lazy to go back into the settings and reset my controller. So unless some leprechaun magically resets it for me, I will, from this day forward, have an illegal controller that will DQ me from tour play. That's my fail safe. Even if I wanted to play again, I can't. I will return to this game when HB fixes the sensitivity of the Tour Club swing and stops making it FPS and server dependent. Until then, no a chance in hell that I ever play on the tour again. We'll see  |

Yeah totally agree people shouldn't take part in activities they don't like. My issue is that this guy is going to continue to play despite what he says - we all know it, even he knows it. He keeps starting these dramatic threads, ranting at anyone who will entertain him (including, admittedly, myself), making declarations along the lines of "I quit!" every time, and then asks a mod to lock the thread after a few days. Then he'll just carry on as normal for the next week/day/hour/minute until the next time he fancies a rant. It's embarrassing and derails and thus devalues the community aspect of the site. I personally think this guy should be banned from the forums - maybe then the forums will become the useful resource they deserve to be. |

PM Scott and ask him to ban me. Then see what happens to the Ranger threads when I'm one of the only ones who regularly tests every course you guys end up playing. You're all a bunch of hypocrites anyway. I made my post. I stayed away. But the children kept poking the hornets nest. And even when I came back when I couldn't take the crap anymore and explained my conversation with Scott, that I would be leaving the tour by rigging my controller so that I could continue to ranger courses, you STILL couldn't leave it alone. Maybe you need to look at YOURSELVES in the mirror before you start coming after me. I was perfectly content to let this thread die. YOUR the ones who kept it going. Hypocrites. |

It went from some rant about quitting because web tour was too hard to 3 days later earning and keeping an exemption into the PGA tour
It went from "I'm not buying TGC2" to "oops I bought it"
Then from "I'll never use tour clubs" to "I'm only using tour clubs"
Then he said he'd quit numerous times.
Now he's saying he's not coming back to the thread and he's really quitting.
Now he's saying he's not quitting but just quitting the tours so he can ranger. Because he is "way too lazy" to ever click the reset button on his settings.
He'll be back on the tour. This is absolutely nuts.
