They probably figure there going to catch the cheaters (good luck with that) at some point during the season, so I believe you can use any controller you want as long as it's compatible with the game and windows. I could be wrong on that Wags, but that's my understanding of it all. They didn't ban any of the robots in TGC1 that found loopholes and exploited them over and over and over. Why should a new game change anything? Hell..the top 100 is littered with robots. You caught me, Phlyer! This is an actual picture of me:

Phylser you're bitter as feck about being shite at the game Nope...just saying the tainted players were there in the 1st game too. Nothing has changed and I'm doing quite well with the new game by the way...thanks for asking

Terry, are you saying guys can play with straight shooters? They probably figure there going to catch the cheaters (good luck with that) at some point during the season, so I believe you can use any controller you want as long as it's compatible with the game and windows. I could be wrong on that Wags, but that's my understanding of it all. Well, I read the fair play thread in News and Announcements and it seems pretty clear and straight forward to me. What I've done with my controller is not acceptable according to what I read. And the last thing I want to be called is a cheater. So I'll be staying away from the tour.

Sorry I haven't kept up with this thread enough and haven't backtracked. What have you done with your controller wags? And don't stay away from the tour silly. I feel like you will post less if less active on tour. And that won't be fun for me. Big fan! And last time I said that you thought I was being sarcastic...

Let's just say it's a mod that the admins are away of and will be looking out for. Scott specifically told me to do it so that I don't quit the game altogether and can at least continue to ranger courses. I agreed as I felt I owed it to the community given all the trouble I've caused here. Aside from that, I really don't miss the game. I am so bad at it, even with the mod, that it's just no fun. But at least now I can somewhat keep the ball around the cone instead of fish hooking all over the place. I'm convinced that I must be the absolute worst player on the tour. Trust me, it's better off this way.

Just noticed I'm 25 pages behind in this thread. I'm not eager to read through all of this so can anyone catch me up on the new topics that have come up here and haven't been talked in circles to death in three other threads?

Wow that game is still a thing I watched 20 mins of a stream and had to put all sharpe objects in a box and throw it off a bridge. Been eating steak with a spoon since 😖 Try Elite Dangerous instead. That's 500 times better than No Man's Lie. If you like spaceship games, that is. No Man's Sky is different, but not a shitty game...never was. The new update is awsome. I play ED too, but still love NMS.

Can we get back to deciding which clubset is best, I'm undecided and would like to hear some more opinions and anecdotal evidence put forward as fact.

Well, I think everybody realizes that Tour Clubs are the best. If you can control them. I found my problem was my controller. I was going out of cone, even shanking once in a while with player's clubs as well. But once I changed to a Dual Shock 4 they are now completely controllable, except for the odd push/pull/shank now and then, but hey, that's golf.

Trust me, it's better off this way. How can it be that bad buddy? Have you watched any of the real PGA event this week. The cut was +5. I'm averaging around -5 on TGC2, that's with TOUR clubs. That's about right. I'm just curious what you consider shooting bad??? Seems like sooo many guys are pissed they can't shoot low 60's everytime and to me that's crazy. Not saying your 1 of them, but it can't be that bad. Esp. with an aiding controller. Dang you want the game to hit the ball for you too???

I consider shooting bad when I hit the rough with an out of cone shot nearly every time. We're all going to go into the rough occasionally; that's golf. I can get +12 and be satisfied. To me, shooting bad is not about score. It's about how I am striking the ball. If it's a push/pull/shank almost every shot, I'm shooting bad.
