The main problem with the scoreboard is that all of the leaders are always instantly shown as thru 18 when I'm still on the first hole. It removes all uncertainty and immersion.

Only had a chance to fiddle in the designer a bit post-patch this morning and, much to my surprise, I was able to import and alter a legacy course on PS4 despite being up around 40% on the plant meter. Heard some ppl were still having issues with that after the patch. Won't have a lot of time to check out the other bugs the worked on, but the legacy issue was the biggie for me, so that's a big step in the right direction.

I wouldn't be able to go back to TGC1 after playing TGC2. Absolutely no way. Even with all the bugs.
They made the right call to flip things over. Just keep doing these fun events until things shake out. There are plenty of things to do in this game (and real life) that I don't NEED the tours to feel fulfilled.

I wish the patch would come out for X1 already. I feel like the last kid in the lunch line.

I am rather enjoying the break from the actual TOURS. Playing in about 8 or 9 societies now has me playing lots of courses and a "meh" attitude if I don't do well. Contrasting that with the tours when its practice practice practice all week on one course, only to completely play like dogshite (nothing like in practice) in the actual event and have the feeling at the end of the week that "that's another 15 hours of my life this week I will never get back".

I've enjoyed the career mode but there are some subpar handicapped rated courses that I've had to use that kick my butt. One had a pin on a yellow slope hill. Wild stuff.

Are you quitting the society, then rejoining them? I thought the limit was 5?

Brighttail - Ron, yes that is what I am doing. Joining and leaving. Playing PGA, Euro, Web, CC-Pro, TST, Hershey, Seniors, and Pro-Am (official TGC society). Thing I did not know is even when you leave the society, your score counts and you earn points/coins. Had to apologize to the Web and C-pro brethren for that. Now I am leaving my ball on the 18th green in last round of r those two tours.

Ashton Fox - Have not gotten into career mode yet. I need to up my society to level 10, otherwise the AI is way too easy. Think I am on level 4 now. Closest competitor usually shoots 5 over for each tournament. Don't know if the last patch corrected that. You are right though, some of the courses. I remember 6 putting in one of the early tournaments.

Went to play today and there is an update for Xbox one of 4.68 GB lets hope it fixes a few things. It makes your golfer do ridiculous celebrations for making bogey... Aside from that, not much change. Apparently we all play with the same wind speed in society events now, but I'm not so sure...
