Of all those "updates" in that patch, the only one that I even care about is the lighting improvements. But i don't really even notice any change there either. The only updates I want or would wait for to re-start season 3 are... 1) Universal wind 2) Get rid of clubs change in game glitch 3) De-couple swing tempo from framerate/server hiccups 4) Removal of all but tour club sets... (LOL) OK, so maybe just the first 3. Had to throw the last one out there to be an a$$ Also wish they had increase allowed # of society memberships to 10 I am very much enjoying playing this game though. Especially since tournaments right now don;t really count for anything other than bragging rights... Mostly agree with this! But 3) - not convinced there is an issue here - never seen it on either PS4 or PC. Get odd swings sure, but generally know when I've done it. And the few that I don't.... I can accept. I know people complain, but there's never been any sort of test that definitively shows it's true... I even tried to test it in this thread... tgctours.proboards.com/thread/11704/swing-sens-sever-related-thoughts?page=6... as a scientist, I'd call it a null result at best. In fact watching a stream of someone complaining about it - the game was reacting the same as when I play it :/

I play on PC, not sure if I have had the patch, but today my swing tempo has changed considerably, using the same swing as per the last 2 weeks, I am now getting a too slow on the downswing nothing seems to change this, might as well give this game away

Which would only be amplified when using the ultra sensitive Tour clubs. It's all starting to make sense

I'm just going to put this out there and then I'm going to shut up.
We should have finished this season on TGC 1 and start the new season on TGC 2. All these weeks off, players will get frustrated and impatient and eventually lose interest.
Switching to TGC 2 mid season, knowing there had to be issues and also knowing that it would take time to institute the changes to the site, IMO, was a bad idea.
But what's done is done.
I've said my peace and I'm moving on.

Do you have a link to thread/post where it was confirmed? Discussions made amongst beta testers in their private forum obviously aren't going to be view-able to others.

Do you have a link to thread/post where it was confirmed? I wasn't in the beta something about having to own a pc. Also not a scientist dabbeled with chemicals as a young adult but not a scientiest. But I call the obvious, When your playing fine the game lags or console starts sounding like its about to go on a mission to mars correlated with a out of character VS swing or S/S swing clearly indicates the tempo has to be tied to something affected . Conclusions Tempo tied to FPS. Result. Angry Moe And everyone I talk to either A) knew somehow or B) figured it out. Its like a Girl with an adams apple, you don't know the result for certain. But you heavily suspect its bollocks

As far as the discussion about the swing mechanic & FPS relationship, as a non beta tester not tied to an NDA or being privy to previously mentioned private forum threads, I've heard a few whispers here. Basically, just try to lock your fps into a steady rate and you may see improvement if you're getting wild variations in frame rate. Again, don't know anything, just speculation, but worth a try if you're struggling with it.
OK, now back to your regularly scheduled program...

Eloquent reply Moe. I'll slide away from this particular debate, if beta tests know for sure - then I'll certainly accept that it's the case for some. Fortunately I've not yet been plagued by it.

Well this then explains why i cant hit straight, i dont a have a fast connection, mine is adsl2, my download is 400k ps, ping connection is not good, copper wire and older router too Xbox one controller is better than xbox 360 controller.Forget about Tour skill. no matter what adjustments i make. Low fps with a high end pc, game drops out on me often Sometimes i would rather go back play tgc1= which i do , if am an honest. lighting is better too, never had any problems really with tgc1 never been so frustrated with a game than tgc2, especially with this tempo Chipping and short game is equally annoying, not really happy with tgc2 to date Would be great to play offline any of the courses and not rely on connection Putting is the only thing that i like so far and thats keeping my score down Thanks for the enlightening info on Tempo tied to fps, this is the killer for me, plenty of people around the globe dont have fast connections

I don't think that internet speed is tied to FPS. The game is loaded into your memory. FPS is about GPU power and a bit of CPU power. All internet speed will do is make the game load faster/slower. Once it is into RAM it should play the same as any other console that has the same amount of RAM.
