Version 1.02 is out on ps4 it dropped sometime today I just got home from work and am dl it now. I read on the HB forums a lot of positive comments about it:)

Hi Folks, an update has been pushed out to PS4 users with the following items addressed.
• General optimizations to improve the load on the game servers.
• Addressed the ability to import and save legacy courses from TGC1.
• Memory improvements.
• Society and Career stats updating with less delay from the server.
• In-Game leaderboards updating with less delay from the server.
• We have added the ability to donate to a society’s bank from your personal wallet.
• We have added an active course filter to show all course with active rivals on them.
• A setting has been added to turn off the ball label for ghosts and rivals.
• Rebalanced AI for Career Mode.
• Less time delay between turn based shots with rivals/friends.
• Lighting adjustments

Last 2 days I've had great lag free rounds. Boot up the PS4, rub my hands with new patch...
Bloody lag is back..! Jesus Christ on a Friday...!
Slow backswing galore, losing 10 yards because my golfer decides to get the lag yips. Stupid Kante!
edit: rebooted the game and all is good with the world again.

Massive improvement for me. I didn't have any lag issues per-se but I did have the feeling that just when i was getting it with straight P/P swings, all of a sudden I'd hit raking hooks or massive pushes and I couldn't replicate P/P no matter what I've tried.
That appears to have been rectified and it feels a lot more consistent.

Cool can't wait to get home and download the patch play some golf. So swing issues seem better?  I turned Bluetooth off on PS4 and switched to USB port playing with cord and that helped even though the shanks and hooks still come out of nowhere on tour clubs. Please tell me the swing is better? Tired of hitting all my FW'S but 2 or 3 a round because the ball goes straight right or left off the club. |

I can't notice a difference in what this patch supposedly did other than lighting. Outside of the original server issues, the game has run fine. However, it's still crashing to blue sceeen when in the designer, both online and when I take the PS4 off the network. Also had it crash in the middle of the TST 3 round event. Never had a game blue screen as much as this one, even some of the original launch titles back in 2013.
Absolutely no excuse to have to save every 5 minutes for fear of a crash. Today I had it crash to the blue screen while in the middle of saving my design. That was awesome. Also no excuse for this to be an issue again after the way the designer worked on the first edition. HB should be embarrassed on that front.

Downloading the update for PS4 now. As someone who mostly plays on Xbox one but has just bought a PS4 and the game, I just don't know how the PS4 guys played this game.
For me it ran absolutely terribly with the lag on the backswing. Not sure about other issues as i gave up.
I went into the designer and i found that it ran marginally better on PS4 than on xbox one.
Hopefully this massive update (almost as big as the game itself lol) fixes things.
