my understanding is they do that to everybody. ... I complained about being a starter and he benched me for 3 weeks.. lol Yea I knew it would happen, has happened to every other RTTS character. I didn't have my guy complain but it's the first time they've actually moved me back to my original position. All of my others ended up staying where they were moved to.

Spring 2020 has ended and my starting pitcher is relegated to middle relief, but unlike my AAA role, Clint Hurdle is using me in meaningful situations.
This year, I've noticed I've gotten rattled more during games. I gave up a go-ahead homer to Joey Votto, and the little target release point line completely disappeared from my pitching meter (I use full analog pitching). I'm not sure if it's because I told my agent that I wasn't happy with my role, or because there was some gameplay update.
So far, I'm 2-1 with an ERA somewhere around 4 over the first month of the season. Got shelled in my first two appearances of the season but am working my way back to respectable numbers. Been giving up a LOT of ground ball hits.

I did long relief for a while and then started for a game or two and then was moved back... but still sitting as Double A Closer at the end of year one despite the fact I've been nearly unhittable
I have velocity maxed on my fastball and I have a knuckleball and a change up.. lol I'm pretty much unhittable because they sit on one pitch.

I started my RTTS using dynamic settings and then figured out where I was comfortable. My hitter is now set to all-star. I found HOF a bit too difficult, but I am finding all-star a bit easy. My pitcher is set to HOF. This feels about right. When I miss location, I get hit hard. Sometimes, even if I throw the pitch I want, a major league hitter still takes me deep. Usually, though, if I am hitting spots and mixing pitches well, I keep the hitters down. I struggle a bit from the stretch, as the timing is a bit different and the tempo is much faster making it much more difficult. Decided to start over my RTTS 1st base with everything on HOF settings, including throwing. I find AllStar settings to easy...HOF is bit tougher, but more realistic results. Going to play my showcase games and see where we are after that. Lets hope Diamondbacks are gonna draft me, or San Diego.

Drafted by the Anaheim Angels, so its gonna be Mobile Bears in AA and had a very good 1st match on HOF settings.

The standard sliders are way more easier Can you screeshot them? Its in the vault, its called TNK/HCP Sliders v2, creator is akingma37. I always use his sliders, they are the most realistic ones. I dont like the standard one, to easy to score Homers.

I don't use other people's sliders (or change my sliders at all) because they're vision of reality usually doesn't match mine. For instance, that slider for Human Contact (and some others) seems to be easier than All-Star, not more difficult, therefore not really HoF level.
I pretty much stick to the default game level's challenge.
