Noob question... this is my first tournament, and I'm wondering is there a designated start time or can you go as soon as the tournament is posted? You can play it as soon as the tournament goes live in-game, but you won't be able to submit scores until Monday morning when the tournament officially goes live on TGCTours. The tournaments go live in-game early to accommodate players who can only play on weekends.

Noob question... this is my first tournament, and I'm wondering is there a designated start time or can you go as soon as the tournament is posted? You can start whenever you want. Tournament is live on saturday and you can play your 4 rounds then if you want. There is only a deadline regarding posting your scores. Before thurdays (midnight; some US time, EST I guess) you have to submit your scores for the first 2 rounds. Before midnight on saturdays the final 2 scores have to be submitted. On the homepage you should also see a countdown clock for your tournament when you're logged on.

Not going to set my sights too high this week, just want to crack the top 58. We'll call it a step up from last week.

I think ill make the cut, but wont fill the bank account on this one. However ill just be glad to make cut as ive missed last 2 and it drives me crazy. I didn't have a blow up hole which im usually good for, I did however bogey after hitting one 6 feet on a very tough pin which is a 2 stroke difference. Ill take the cut and whatever check I can get towards my goal of top 10 on moneylist year end to earn my card, will still have to increase my game to make this happen, consistency is key!
Round 1. -8 Round 2. -3 Round 3. -3 Round 4. -8
Total. -23

Did the 1st 2 rounds earlier. -10 in the 1st and +1 in the 2nd. Not feeling very confident that -9 will make the cut for the weekend. Those winds in round 2 killed me!!

Freshly released from Police custody (reporter dropped the charges on condition that Wilks give 1/2 his next cheque to charity & attend anger management classes), Dave Wilks played 1 of his best rounds in a while with a R1 score of 60 (-10). He said he's not looking forward to R2 due to the high winds, but he's going to give it his best.

-8, -6, -1, -8. Really pleased with the second round in the high winds, was -3 after 5/6 in the third round, and then took a 7 on the par 3, really knocked the stuffing out of me. Should of really been about a -30. But should make my third straight cut after promotion.

finally had a tourney where I didn't implode one of the four rounds.... didn't shoot as well as I should have round one missing 3 or 4 birdy putts from like 8 feet... the high wind round I was pleasantly surprised and happy with a -4
round 1: 63 (-7) round 2: 66 (-4) round 3: 62 (-8) round 4: 61 (-9)
total: -28
good luck everyone...Fun tourney...great setup even in the high or somewhat high winds of 2 and 3

Playing on a sponsor's exemption this week for my fourth overall tournament on TGCTours. Had T-6th, T-12th, and T-4th finishes in three events on the CC-A, so I feel like I've been playing fairly well and pretty consistently! I'm feeling the pressure a little bit this week, but hopefully I'll be able to turn in a performance that will keep me up here with the rest of you! I'm (sniff) just so proud, (sniffle) of my presidents cup partner. (Weep) Hah! You're too kind. Hopefully I'll have a good showing here, or else it'll be back to the CC-A for me lol

I have gotten into a little bit of trouble with the management of tgctours after last weeks event. It seems the disappearance of two cc members last week is damaging to the reputation of tgctours and blood sacrifices are now officially banned. Reputation my ass, they are just worried about losing sponsorship money from some holier than thou corporate giant and us, the web.com players, the red haired middle child of tgctours are the ones paying the price. So be it, thems the rules now, guess I just have to face the bunkers , trees and turtle shell greens using pure golfing skill, God, I'm screwed.
Round one. Seeing some of the early scores come in, and knowing the back nine is tougher than the front nine, the pressure is on to start scoring early, with my recent form, something I could have done with out. That pressure told on the very first hole, my drive and approach were fine, just eight feet from the cup but the wrong side of the cup meant my putt broke heavily, needless to say I missed and a early chance gone already. A missed green on the second took birdie chance away from me, what was worse though was the smug look on the faces of the tour officials, one who was following my game even had a tee shirt saying " Challenge Circuit sponsored by the Red Cross, blood donation, not blood sacrifice". It was very off putting and my third par of the day followed as I lipped out on the third. A great approach on the fourth finally brought my first birdie of the day. I was still wary of the putt, even though it was short, it was downhill so I tapped it as gently as I dared, it just about made it. With a par five to follow, there was a great chance of back to back birdies, for a change, everything went right. The ball went where I planned for it to go, leaving a tap in birdie to go two under. The distance and headwind on six meant I found myself between clubs on the tee, I had two choices, long or short, I elected for short leaving a long forty foot putt which I lagged close for par. There was a third choice, a risky shot, playing a five wood short but I could not take the chance, two many eyes on me, wouldn't have been a full sacrifice either but no, partial are not allowed either. A poor approach on seven found me facing another long putt, another par but that hole was a good birdie chance hole. A missed green on eight, a disappointing approach as I thought I had a good chance to put a long iron close, I hit it to far left and found myself on the fringe. A good chip dropped for birdie, something I really needed as I was facing another par. I finished the back nine with par, disappointing as the conditions were perfect to attack the hole, I went to far right and chance gone.
Anyone watch Game of Thrones? What do you think Jon Snows opinion on blood magic would be? Just throwing it out there. The back nine started with a shockingly bad birdie putt. Well technically, it started with a drive and two other shots but let's not leave pedantic so get in the way of drama. It should have been a birdie and yet somehow I left a short putt short. A screw up of epic proportions. Hmm can short be epic? Maybe a screw up of minuscule proportions. I did go four under on eleven, a long iron shot to within five feet showed that I had not fully lost my ability to get the ball close from distance, just need to do it more often. Sadly I could not do it again on twelve where I went a little to long, my birdie putt toyed with me a little as it rolled around the lip of the cup before rolling away, one of those days. Thirteen brought another missed putt, it was not easy but it was the sort of putt that would drop if confidence was high. Another par on fourteen before a good tee shot of fifteen brought a great birdie chance. I will admit to being terrified standing over the putt, double break and if I missed the chance of rolling of the green. I closed my eyes and hit it straight, the sound of the ball dropping was music to my ears. In hindsight, closing my eyes was not the smartest thing to do. Sixteen brought another good long approach shot, possibly the high point of the day was the fact I was leaving myself under ten feet on the long par fours, I just was not making the putts, and that was the case here as well. I kept leaving myself putts with heavy break, not what I need when not putting well.i closed out with two more pars to finish five under, no clear cut chances on the final two holes but again, putts that could have dropped if the confidence was there.
Five under is probably not good enough knowing the forcast for round two is windy. Still, there has been improvements over the past couple of weeks. Bogey free, leaving the ball close enough for birdie chances. I am not playing badly, just not playing well. Still it was a fun round on a fine golf course and you never know, I might have a good day in the wind.
No challenge circuit players were harmed in the writing of this post.
