To be honest Moe Slorkman I personally don't think it should matter whose course gets selected on any tour. I wouldn't care if every course during the season was a schedulers own course once they are good quality and playable. I actually like that about Carolina Low bogeyman as it really does require you to put some thought into each shot. Two of the wholes both par 5's require lay ups. One is definitely reachable in 2 for distance, but with the elevation you would be coming in too hot to stick the green. The 2nd one actually made me take at most a 4 iron off the tee and again for my 2nd shot leaving a short iron in for approach. The looks amazing, great detail in there.

I played the first round of the practice tour someone had created and shot -11 (61) without 100% focus/effort. After that and looking at the scores for the first round, I wanted something close to double digits under par, but would have been content with -7, -8, or -9. Well...I sucked. Only way to put it. A terrible, utterly putrid -2 (70). I couldn't get anything close. And when I did find myself within 15', lip-out, lip-out, and more lip-outs. On a serious note though, I had more putts hit the lips than ever before. One even hit the lip and when the opposite way from the hole? After reading thru this thread, it appears others struggled with lip-outs on this course also. What gives? Any who, I'm going to give Round 2 a shot tonight...with very little hopes of making the cut. Knew I needed at least a -12 (60) to give myself a chance of making the cut. Played a pretty solid round. A few more could have fallen, particularly the birdie putt on 18 from about 8'. Ended up with a -11 (61). -13 won't make the cut. Oh well. On a side note...I'm really looking forward to the US Open qualifying. I haven't played Ecliptic Bay yet, but it'll be fun either way.

Not a great first two rounds but I have a shot according to the watcher report. Left my first two putts just inches short on one and two in my second round which I hope doesn't come back to bite me.
-7 -9

Had a stellar round 2 to make up for a lackluster first. Could've, should've, would've been better had I got an accurate read on the green on 18 that eventually lead to a 3 putt bogey from 8 feet.
-17 after 2 should be safe.
I hope.

Seeing some of the final scores that people are posting, I'm getting quiety confident that my -35 (iirc) is going to hold up rather well this week. Last time I looked I was still sitting 2nd on the XB1 Leaderboard

Last time I looked I was still sitting 2nd on the XB1 Leaderboard I think you'll find your round 3 score is one of the best out there, great shooting in those conditions! Round 4 doesn't look too shabby either, haven't played that one yet but will be doing well to keep my nose in front. Basically, I think you're right!

I know those rounds are set firm and fast, but I have to admit I didn't find them that firm imo. You're streets ahead of me after 2 rounds so I'm sure you'll do okay

Hey guys, yes I have come out of retirement this week. I knew I left a few shots out there but I honestly didn't think the cut would be as low as it is. You guys must have been practicing in my absence. Good to see things are still going strong here.
I'm likely back for good now after a much needed break to ease some of the frustrations with my play. I'm back in the designer as well so stay tuned for a new project in the near future.

-19 thru 2 and then -4 on the last 2 for a -23 total. lol Those Round 3 winds were rough and then the fast and firm Round 4 greens were a test. I'm happy with 2 cuts made in a row.

so after missing the last 2 cuts, I wasn't sure whether to play this course as my practice rounds were poor to say the least, but I registered & played R1 shooting a 64 (-8). I decided to practice R2 & was -8 after 9, with an ace, before I decided to "go for it"
setting off, I was wondering if I should have had a break before playing, as the putts stayed up & after 9 I was -3. hitting the back 9 wasn't going any better, as 1 birdie in the next 4 holes left me on -4, needing to make 4 birdies in the last 5 holes. holes 14 & 15 went to plan as I took 2 birdies, then disaster struck as I missed a 2 foot putt & only made par, -6 with 2 holes to play.
then.....
eagled the 17th & for good measure birdied the 18th to get to -17, squeaky bum time avoided

Snuck a R1 -11 61 in. Super happy with that considering the winds.
Struggled R2 with a -6, should have practiced those slower greens, left so many putt out there. Oh well.

Missed cut 3 out of last 4 back to the drawing board . To add insult to injury spent 3 hours designing last night and PlayStation crashed . Oh how this game can just hate you sometimes

Oh how this game can just hate you sometimes You'll always go back to it though. We are both struggling at the moment, my best round recently was my 2nd on the Ryder cup. I feel like Ian Poulter at the moment!
